-Third Person P.O.V-

It was now late Sunday evening and once again Peter hadn't gone to see Bucky. He wanted to, he really did, it was one of the only places he felt, and was, safe. But he had been too distracted with being Spider-Man and helping people.

Currently, he was sat on top of a building, listening for any form of danger and for someone who needs his help. Even though he had only started to save people yesterday, his name- or well his alter ego, Spider-Man's name was everywhere, news papers had his face stamped on the front and whenever he was spotted photos were taken of him.

Peter had been able to avoid May the whole weekend which he was very happy about. Although he had a high chance of it being thrown back in his face tomorrow morning when he left for school. He knew May would be more than pissed at him, but he didn't care much, he knew now he was helping people when he was out and that was good enough for him.

He was hoping to see Bucky again, but he knew he probably wouldn't have much time with how busy he was with having to help people, and now having to go to school. Luckily as well, he had still been able to go to Delmar's and get his sandwich and sneak food when he got home, as now he was able to be a lot quieter and stealthier.

An echo of a scream reached his ears and he jumped up from where he was sitting and listened closer to where it was coming from. As soon as he knew, he was jumping from the building and catching himself on a web before moving closer to where it was heard, intended to go and stop what was happening and help the person who needed it.

-

Peter was right when he though May would be angry at him. He got home late last night, at around 2AM and woke up again at 6AM to get ready for school. As soon as he walked out of his room he knew he was screwed.

He heard the thumping feet of May and knew there was no escape.

"And where the fuck have you been," May growled, walking over to Peter with a sneer on her face.

Peter swallowed down his fear, or at least tried to. He couldn't help but hate himself for how scared he was while being confronted by May. Within the last couple days, he had been able to face any form of bad person, ranging from a thief to a robber with a gun pointed at him, and he wasn't scared then. But now, being faced with someone who was meant to be family, and who he had known for as long as he could remember, he couldn't helped but be scared.

"I'm- I'm sorry, I was out," Peter mumbled, knowing no matter what he said, it would still cause May to lash out and hit him.

Her eyes narrowed in anger and she took a threatening step towards Peter, Peter wanted to step back, however, he couldn't take anymore step backs because his back was already against the wall. Peter really wished his Uncle was here, he knew he would stop her, but he couldn't now because he wasn't here anymore.

And it was Peter's fault.

'It's okay to miss him Pete, it always will be. And I know you blame yourself for it, but you shouldn't. You weren't the one to pull the trigger and there is no way it was your fault it happened, okay,' Buckys words echoed in his mind, pushing away some of the thoughts that were consuming his mind.

"Not good enough Peter, I thought by now you would have learnt," May mumbles before her fist flew towards his face.

-

Peter kept his head down as he made his way to school, thankfully he wouldn't be late, even with May hitting him for a good half hour, and then having to go get Delmar's. His face throbbed with pain and he knew he more than likely wouldn't be healed until tomorrow, his chest was more than likely bruised and he wouldn't be surprised if my ribs were cracked or even broken.
