part 21| CAN'T YOU LOVE ME?

Another has started with the same routine but nothing has changed in taehyung's behaviour he's still the same I don't know what made him like this but all I can understand is he seems a moody person I stopped trying to make a conversation with him not because I don't want to but these days have been hectic for me waking up in the morning and returning home  late the collaboration is gonna end soon everyone has been busy I'm afraid if I try to have talk with him he'll burst out on me for sure and I don't want this I need to work really good that would be a distraction for me
"Y/n where are you lost I called you so many times is everything alright you seem lost in your thoughts "
Jhope called me breaking the chain of my thoughts " huh sorry I was thinking about work collaboration gonna end soon"
"Yeah right hope we achieve successful result"
"Ofc we'll we worked so hard hobi "
"You're not eating anything? You want me to get you something else if you don't like this ?"
He was about to get up to get something
" Aah hobi " I stopped him by holding his hand "I'm fine I'm not really hungry yk I had sm in breakfast"
"Are you sure like I can get something"
I saw sincerely concern in his eyes I wonder why is he so good towards me, seeing him makes my heart warm atleast I have someone who cares like a brother

"Hobi can u ask you something?"
He nodded "why you're so good to me ?I mean I'm not doubting you I'm just curious y-yk no one has really showed me this side don't get me wron-
"Y/n " my words were cutted by him
"Y/n you remind me of my sister, she was my only sister I had but unfortunately she passed away due to cancer and I really miss her the day when I saw you I felt like my own sister is standing in front of me I just wanted to run to you and embrace you in my arms but I stopped my ofcourse we didn't knew about eachother and the days when you fainted I was scared the moment remind me of my sister laying on the hospital bed"
I looked at his eyes which wet due to tears in his eyes I patted his shoulder

"hobi yk you're strongest and I really feel good when I'm around you and ofcourse I'm like your sister I don't have a brother but now I can say I have you who really takes good care of me thank for being there for me "

I stood up from my took him in my embrace rubbing is back
" I'm sorry for your loss "

You were sitting on your desk peacefully doing your work, so concentrated on your work that you didn't noticed taehyung coming out of his office until he calls your name
"Ms yn " you flinched hearing his sudden deep voice and stood up bowed at him
"Y-yes sir you need anything ?"
"Umm yeah did you completed the file I told you to do yesterday ?"

"Yes sir I did "
"Okay bring that file in my office I need to discuss something"
He went back in his office
"Aah he really scared me " keeping your hand in your heart you said
You searched for that file and went in his office not forgetting to knock on the door before you enter

Entering the office you saw him sitting on his chair as usual focussed on his laptop noticing your presence he gestured you to take a seat in front of him
"File "
He extended his hand asking for the file, you nodded and handed him the file

I handed him the file when he asked me I should be the to give but I don't know I felt so nervous that I forgot the reason I came, he took the files and starting checking it, that somehow made me more nervous what if I did some mistakes?, What if he's not satisfied with my work?, What if he tells me to do it again or fires me?, He doesn't even talk with me?

"Ms yn are you listening to me?" I heard him oh shit I was zoning out again did he called me many times?
"S-sorry sir I zoning out "

"Well that's not my problem ms y/n you should be attentive during work you're my secretary and I won't accept this behaviour from you hope you work on your problem "
He said with stern face
"I'm sorry sir I won't happen again "
"Anyways I checked the file and everything is present as I wanted but I you to add this information too" he said taking out the papers from his desk
