Ch. 104(3): Babymoon Dream

Matt's POV: After getting the rest of me and Gabby's things in the van, I smiled as I walked back into the cabin and then locked the door. After that, I went to make my way to our room where we were going to be alone for a while. I am just glad that is the case since we specifically booked the cabin (well, I did) ahead of time so that we can have a bit of time together away from the city. With me being a Battalion Chief, I am always so busy and I can't help but feel like that has been affecting me and Gabby's marriage. But so far, things seem to be going great...especially with the pregnancy. Gabby hasn't had much problems (so far) so, that is good. Now, time to get the rest of our things in our room. Walking in, I saw Gabby playing with the boys a little bit. 

"Yeah, there's Noah. Yeah, he's so cute isn't he?" I just smiled and tried to stay quiet when I heard her say that because I didn't want to disturb this nice time that Gabby was getting with the boys. It's adorable and I am just lucky that I get to watch it. That's when Gabby noticed I was in the room. "Don't let me stop you from setting up the cribs." I smiled and just laughed when she said that. "Oh, it wasn't. I was just admiring how great of a mom you are." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. Going to walk over to where the cribs where going to be set up, I turned to look at Gabby. "You okay with the cribs against this wall? In between the door to come in and the washroom? Or do you want them over there in the corner?" Gabby bit her lip.

"Honestly, I think that putting them against the wall between the washroom is hard. I mean, the other washroom is on the other side." I agreed with her when she told me that. "So you want them on either side of us?" Gabby nodded when I asked her that and just smiled. Going to walk over to the bed, I went to set the cribs down next to the boys and smiled when I saw Andy looking up at me. "Hey bud. Yeah, you're ready to take a nice long nap aren't you buddy?" Going to put my hand on his stomach, I smiled as I went to rub his stomach and then bent down to kiss his neck a bit. He laughed when I did that and just smiled because it was so cute. Meanwhile, Gabby just watched me before walking over to me. "You spend time with them. I got it."

I just looked at her when she said that. "Gabby, you..." Gabby just glared at me when I started to ask her if she was sure and I just shut up right away. "Okay boys, just take a hint...when you see your mom make that face, just shut up and don't even comment anymore." Going to look at Noah, I smiled as I decided to go ahead and pick him up. "I swear, you boys are going to be trouble." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Aren't we always trouble?" Gabby nodded when I asked her that and just smiled at me. Going to sit on the bed, I smiled at Noah as I went to sit down on the bed with him. Looking down at him, I smiled as I went to rub his back. That's when I saw him yawn and just smiled at him. "Oh, that's a big yawn for a lil' boy."

Gabby just laughed when I said that and smiled at me. "Keep going, I love it when you do that with him." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that. Laying Noah down on my chest, I smiled as I just cuddled up to him and then went to kiss his head. However, it wasn't long before Andy wanted some attention too. Going to get up, I went to grab the pillow I was just leaning against and then set it down on the bed. Going to lay Noah down, I smiled as I went to go grab Andy so that he was going to be comfortable with me. "Oh, there's my main man. Yeah, you want to come cuddle up to daddy too. You are jealous that your brother is getting all of my attention." Going to sit on the bed again, I smiled as I cuddled up to him and rubbed his back.

Turning to look at me, Gabby just smiled. "You can't decide which one you want to hold more can you?" I laughed when Gabby asked me that and just nodded. "And right when I start holding one, the other cries and complains that I am not holding them. They are a lot like their mother." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that, going to grab one of our bags. Going to put it on her table, she smiled at me before going to grab the boys' bag and setting it down next to her along with the diapers. "Do you think that they are going to nap anytime soon? Or do you think that they are going to stay awake for a while?" I turned my head when Gabby asked me that. "You're tired aren't you?" Gabby shook her head. "I slept in the car." I then glared at her.

"Fine, I am a little tired...but what do you expect Matt? I'm pregnant." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she told me that because I knew that was the truth. "Right, of course." Gabby smiled and just agreed with me when I said that. Coming to sit down on the bed next to me, she smiled and then just looked at our boys. "Here, pass me Andy." I agreed with her when she said that, letting Andy go so that Gabby could grab him. Going to cuddle up to him, Gabby just smiled at him and went to rub his cheek. "Hey little guy, you miss mommy during the drive?" Going to rub his cheek, Gabby smiled at him and then went to kiss his forehead. "Yeah, I thought that was the case." Moving close to her, I went to wrap my arm around her as we held the boys.

"You comfortable?" Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I asked her that. "I am always comfortable when we are holding the boys in our arms." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she told me that because I knew that was the truth. "You know, if you want to get more comfortable...I need to get changed." Gabby laughed and agreed with me when I said that. "Not yet. However, maybe you can get the boys some bottles? Then, we can feed them...and maybe after, daddy can get a little bit of attention." I smiled when she said that. "Let me guess, you're hormonal." Gabby laughed. "Babe, I'm pregnant...of course I'm hormonal." I nodded and agreed with Gabby when she said that, going to get up so that I could set Noah down on our bed.

Of course, he started to cry right away. "Oh, sorry little guy....daddy just has to lay you down so that he can get you a bottle. Listen, do you have the boys for a minute? I have the cooler over there. I am going to put the bottles with formula in the fridge over there...then we can feed the boys. That sound good?" Gabby nodded and smiled when I asked her that. "That sounds great Matt." I nodded and smiled when she said that. Walking over to the cooler so that I could move the bottles towards the fridge. Grabbing the other bottles and the formula, I went to bring it to the kitchen. "Everything is in the kitchen babe." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that, watching me walk away to the kitchen so that I could get the boys some bottles.

Once I finished getting the boys some bottles, I smiles as I came back to bed with them so that me and Gabby could feed them. I know that she probably wants to feed them as soon as possible so that we could get busy. I know she wants me more than anything in the entire world and I am definitely not going to stand in the way of that. Walking over with one of the bottles, I smiled as I went to give it to Gabby. "Here you go." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I said that. "Thanks." She then went to start giving it to Andy and smiled.. Meanwhile, I went to go grab Noah (who was still crying) and just went to carry him to bed so that I could sit with him. Sitting down with him in my arms, I smiled as I went to give him his bottle. "There we go."

Noah just went to grab his bottle and smiled as he started to feed. I could tell that he was hungry and just smiled. "That's daddy's little hungry boy isn't it?" Gabby laughed when I asked him that and turned her head to look at me. "God, you are so adorable when you talk to the kids." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "Not as adorable as you are when you are taking care of them." Gabby smiled and agreed with me when I told her that. She then went to lean in and just smiled as she started to kiss me slowly. "I love you." I smiled and agreed with Gabby when she said that. "I love you too and I am so glad that we are here together right now. This is exactly what we need right now...time together with our boys for a little bit."

Gabby smiled when I said that and just went to grab my hand. "And maybe a bit of pleasure. You have been so busy at work...I would like some." I nodded and agreed with her when she said that, smiling because I loved the idea. "Yes, I will gladly give you some pleasure Mrs. Casey." Gabby smiled when I said that and leaned in to kiss me softly. "I love it when you use my married name." I laughed and just smiled when she said that. "Good, because that is your name." Gabby nodded and just smiled when I said that. "Yes, yes it is." I agreed with her and just smiled when she said that. Turning my attention back to Noah, I smiled as we fed the boys this afternoon. "Tell me when you're hungry for supper okay. Remember the girls." Gabby smiled. "Sex first."

I smirked and agreed with Gabby when she said that, loving that idea...because I was thinking the same thing.
