"Yumi you did amazing" My partner praised me as we closed up the press conference.
A smile formed on my face at her complement "We did amazing." I corrected her
We stare into the crowd of people who cheered us on. JeJu has been suffering from a mass serial killer for the past eight months. They had very little evidence, and no way to connect the dots.
They called in my team, the FBI. We worked for weeks. Waiting and waiting for this murder to kill and once he did. We caught him.
"Where to next?" I asked my boss
"Our assistance was requested in Seoul."
I nod. I packed up my things and grabbed my go back. I met the team at the plane and we departed for Seoul. During the ride, everyone slept. It's the only time we can, in between flying from one case to another, solving one murder after another.
"Yumi and Juyuri you guys head to the station first," My boss said as we walked down the stairs of the plane. "we're gonna check out the crime scene then we'll meet you there." We nodded and got into one of the cars, Juyuri in the passenger seat and me driving.
"How long has it been?" My partner asked with her eyes glued to the tall building along the road,
"Huh?" I responded confused.
She turned her heads towards me "when was the last time you were in Seoul?" She asked
"Oh, 5 years ago." I gave her a faint smile before directing my attention back to the road. Secretly turning the music up hoping she wouldn't attempt to deepen the conversation.
Once arrived at the station one of the officers showed us to a conference room where we got settled and started looking at all the evidence.
"Whats this pile?" I asked looking down at a stack of files
"We believe that the unsub has been killing for awhile. So we went back a couple of years, these are the cases with similar emo's, it's just a hunch but can't hurt to look." one of their officers stated.
I nodded and started flipping through the file. "He breaks into homes, kills the parents, and rapes the children before killing them to."
