44. Dubrovnik

Here we are, about to land in Dubrovnik airport after an hour and half of flying.

About Venice, after Doge's Palace and St. Mark's Basilica, we were on a day trip to Murano and Burano, and it was beautiful. After that we visited Gallerie dell'Accademia and since I really love this kind of art I more than enjoyed it. Last week in Venice we went to Ponte dell'Accademia. Seeing Venice from bridge as sun was setting was beautiful and I think that was the place where we were taking the most pictures. The last day of our trip to Venice we were driving over Grand Canal by gondola. Let's just say that day was the worst from Ben's side because he was so in that mood, and I almost throw him from gondola.

"That gondola I won't forget you" he mumbled just as he knew what I was thinking about

"You better don't forget it because I was serious about throwing you in canal" I said raising my eyebrow at him

"You will never" he said

"Oh, I will Benjamin" I smirked at him

"You love me too much; you will never throw me in canal" he said smiling at me

He knows me so well, but he can't even imagine how much I love him.

First two days we were just enjoying walking around Dubrovnik without many activities because Ben told me he has surprises for me, one for this week and second for next week what I need to be relaxed for. Today we were walking down Stradun Street to Dubrovnik Walls that Ben had planned for us to climb over it.

"Come on Els, it's not that hard" he told me smiling at me as I was protesting over climbing up walls

"You're a footballer of course it's not hard for you" I groaned at him

"And that footballer had surgery and six months recovery from the same" he said looking at me seriously "Come on" he said taking my hand in his as we were walking over Dubrovnik walls

As we got on the highest place on walls, we took pictures of city in front of us.

"Sit, but please, be careful" he said leaving kiss on my forehead and stepping back from me as I sat on the small wall facing him my back

"Got it" he said and walked over me showing me pictures he just took

"Wow, it's so beautiful" I whined at him as he kissed me on flash

"let's go" he said and took me by hand

"Let me take a picture of you, please" I begged him, and he gave up posing in front of me as I was taking a picture of him

"Excuse me" he said to one guy who looked at him really surprised

"Can you take a picture for us?" he asked as guy nodded still shocked mumbling of course

He grabbed me by waist and leaned in kissing me.

"Here you are" the guy said handing Ben back his phone

"Thank you" he said

"you're welcome, have a nice time" guy said and walked away from us as Ben looked at me confused

"What?" he asked

"You just kissed me in front of your, clearly seen, fan" I said, and he shrugged

"okay" he said intertwining his fingers with mine

"I see you're getting comfortable" I mumbled

"I realised that there is no need to worry about, I just want to enjoy with you, spend the best holidays in my life with you and just don't care about damn paparazzi or what medias will write. I want to enjoy with you just as much as I do when we are in London, in my house, away from public eye, on our own. I want it to be just you and me, I don't want to see other people, just you" he said as my heart skipped few beats

"I love you" he said cupping my face

"I love you too Ben" I said, and he kissed me taking my hand back in his as we walked down Dubrovnik walls

"I can't wait for you to see what I have planned for Friday" he said with huge smile on his face

"Come on Ben, spill the tea" I groaned at him as we were sitting on balcony looking at sunset

"No chance, it's a secret" he winked at me

"that's not fair" I whined at him "And you better give me feet massage since I'm dying of those walls on 40 degrees, Ben" I said looking at him seriously

"okay" he groaned at me before he smiled "but you know I want something in replacement" he smirked at me

"no" I said

"Come on" he whined

"We are not at home Ben" I said

"And?"

"You want someone to catch us?" I asked

"Who will catch us?" he laughed at me "I can make you really quiet" he whispered on my ear
