After Mei and the Herrscher of the Void's clash, the Herrscher of the Void obviously overpowered Mei.
While Mei had her throat being held by the Herrscher of the Void, she struggled to break free.
"K... Kiana... Wake... up..." Mei holds Kiana's face
The Herrscher of the Void's yellow eyes turned back to blue and tears started gathering. Kiana let go of Mei and started screaming while holding her head, making Mei worry. Mei tried to reach her hand out to Kiana, but the screams were replaced by an evil laugh.
Somwthing forms on Kiana's back which opened a portal behind them.
"Wha... What's happening?!" Mei asked
A huge Honkai Beast that had a lance for an arm came out of the portal and attacked Mei. Mei was thrown away and when she landed, the Honkai Beast appeared on top of her again to attack her.
The moment the Honkai Beast thrust it's lance towards Mei, something stopped it.
"Soo-jin..." Mei said
Soo-jin froze the lance of the Honkai Beast and broke it. The Honkai Beast flew away from him, feeling something different from him.
"The cavalry... has arrived." Soo-jin said as Anti-Entropy mechas appear and fight the Honkai Beast
An army of Anti-Entropy mechas charged towards Kiana and she creates multiple portals where an army of Honkai Beasts came out of.
"I see. So this is the power of the Void. To create portals that tranport things." Soo-jin said
A line of Anti-Entropy mechas formed a shield which protected the ones at the back that created cannons.
"No... The Void will just send the attacks back at us. A direct hit is the only attack that has a high chance of hitting her." Soo-jin said
"Huh...?" Mei looked at him as the Anti-Entropy cannons light up the area
With a snap of a finger, the Herrscher of the Void created portals that took in all of the projectiles shot by Anti-Entropy mechas. Portals appeared around the Anti-Entropy mechas and their projectiles were fired back at them as Soo-jin and Mei watched.
Soo-jin stood in front of Mei as a dragon lands near them and the Herrscher of the Void stares at them.
"Would using my Herrscher now... make things better... or worse?" Soo-jin wondered as the Herrscher of the Void and him stared at each other's eyes
Just when the Herrscher of the Void were about to harm them both, Theresa landed in front of them.
"Mei, are you alright?" Theresa asked
"Principal?" Mei said
"Great. I've managed to catch up to Soo-jin. He just went straight on first, creating a bridge of ice to here which was destroyed." Theresa said
"Professor, I've met up with Mei and Soo-jin, but Kiana..." Thereasa paused
"High Honkai energy radiation is detected within Kiana's body. We're getting a reading of 4458 HW... Is this reader broken?" Einstein asked
"Where's your mech unit?" Theresa asked
"I have not received signal from any of the sixty-seven mech units of the vanguard." Einstein said
"They were annihilated by the Void." Soo-jin said, surprising both Einstein and Theresa
"The number of hostiles is still increasing. Many are joining the battlefield as we speak. The situation is not looking good for us." Einstein said
"I've no choice, but to bet on this! We have a chance of winning if we can stir Kiana's sense of self." Theresa said
"Soo-jin, like before, we might still need your Herrscher powers." Theresa said
"Okay." Soo-jin said
While Theresa charged at the Herrscher of the Void with Soo-jin and Mei, but she suddenly disappeared and four Honkai Beasts appeared.
"The Herrscher has disappeared!" Theresa said
"Thank you, Captain Obvious!" Soo-jin said
The three of them charged at each Honkai Beasts and started fighting them while being aware where the Herrscher of the Void went.
While they fought against Honkai Beasts, a portal appeared underneath Soo-jin.
"Huh?" Soo-jin looked underneath him
"Soo-jin!" Mei shouted
Soo-jin fell into the portal and when he blinked, he was falling from the sky and he was suddenly hit by someone on the face.
The Herrscher of the Void grabbed Soo-jin's neck with two hands.
"What an honor to be targeted by the Herrscher of the Void." Soo-jin laughed as he struggled to break free from her grasp
"Why are you suppressing your Herrscher powers?" The Herrscher of the Void asked
"Because why not?" Soo-jin asked
"Do you want to die that bad, you vermin?" The Herrscher of the Void asked, punching Soo-jin on the face
"What if I want to die that bad?" Soo-jin asked
Soo-jin spits blood after the Herrscher of the Void bust his lip after punching him.
"Damn you, lowly insect." The Herrscher of the Void said, wiping the blood off of her face
The Herrscher of the Void punched Soo-jin's stomach, making him cough.
"Are you joking around while facing a Herrscher like me?" The Herrscher of the Void asked
"What if I am joking around?" Soo-jin grinned mischievously while the Herrscher of the Void grits her teeth
"Kill me then. I know you can't." Soo-jin said
Soo-jin's grin disappeared when he realized he was stuck inside a ball where time ran differently. Many pins from the Herrscher of the Void were heading at him and one of them stabbed his leg. Soo-jin lets out a scream of pain.
The Herrscher of the Void laughs until someone joins her laugh.
"What's so funny, insect?" The Herrscher of the Void stopped laughing
"I could ask you the same." Soo-jin laughed
The Herrscher of the Void looks behind her and a wave of blades were shooting theirselves at her.
"Tsk!" The Herrscher of the Void clicked her tongue
She created portals to send the blades into, but when she felt a sinister aura from behind her. When she turned around, she saw Soo-jin with a huge two handed sword made out of blades that the holds with one hand.
Soo-jin swung the sword at the Herrscher of the Void which she barely dodged and he managed to cut a small wound on her face.
"What's wrong? Scared?" Soo-jin laughed as he licks her blood on the sword
The Herrscher of the Void tries to attack Soo-jin, but he just kept evading her attacks while brushing his hair backward seggsily.
Horns grew out of Soo-jin's head and a humanoid made from blades formed behind him.
"Oh, you're challenging me instead of running away, lowly insect?" The Herrscher of the Void asked
"I can't squeeze the blood out of you without getting closer." Soo-jin said
