For the people that might be confused with Jezzabelle's job in this book, she's a RUNWAY MODEL but she also does many other things. Such as promotes herself and her many brands (LITERALLY what most runway models do in their life) but since she is a model that has worked literally from rags to riches, she's decided to be hands on with EVERYTHING. She promotes herself, creates brands and beauty products of HERSELF which causes her to work sort of a 9-5 job under a company she is signed under. So YES she does have a desk job that requires her being in the office sometimes.
Jezzabelle Pov

The whole ride to the cafe that we ate at before was quiet except for Bruno Mars voice singing through the car speakers. I didn't think a man like Mister Anderson would be the type to listen to Bruno Mars but I guess I never really got the chance to know what type of man he was before the other night.

After parking his expensive car in the cafe parking lot. Being a gentleman, he got out of the car quickly to open my door for me to get out as well.

"Same as always?" Leanne, the owner of the cafe, asks me since she knows I order the same thing every time I come on my lunch break.

"Anything for you sir?" She asks turning to Alessandro after I nodded to her.

"Just a beer"

"In the middle of the afternoon?"

"Never to early to enjoy a drink"

He replies to my surprised question with a wink as I looked away quickly to hide the way he affects me.

"We'll be sitting over there" I say to Leanne as she nods before Alessandro follows me to the booth I always sit at.

As soon as we sat down, I realized there was a buzzing sound coming from Alessandro's pocket but he was to busy staring back at me to notice.

"Are you gonna answer that? It sounds urgent"

"I'm on break. Besides, I have more important matters to deal with"

"So that's what this is? An important matter for you to deal with?"

"I didn't mean it to sound like that, I'm sorry. I'm really fucking this up. Let me start again, I have a more important person I'd rather be with than any other stupid person bugging me from work. How does that sound?"

His nervous rambling made me laugh which made him smile back with a confused expression.

"You're cute, but I don't want an emergency happening at your work and you don't know about it because you're having lunch with me"

"It's fine. I told my assistant I was taking the rest of the day off, she's probably just emailing me notes about all my appointment from the clients I canceled today"

"You canceled all your appointments today?"

"I told you, you're more important-"

"I'm not that important! You shouldn't cancel important meetings all day if all you're gonna do is talk to me during my half an hour lunch break"

"It's not like it would've made a difference anyways, I haven't been thinking straight in any of my meetings all week since the night at the club"

At his response, I ended up being silent. It wasn't just because of the waitress that was now putting my food and his beer in front of us, but I was actually surprised at how much the night at the club affected the both of us.

I thought the night at the club was affecting only my days at work but he might've also been affected as much as I was. I had to cancel two of my photo shoots and my flight to Italy for the weekend fashion show in Milan due to my mind being all over the place ever since that night.
