A/N Okay, this may seem like a big time skip, but trust in me (just in me. Shut your eyes, trust in me)(I hope that there are some Jungle Book fans here, because that song sounds really creepy out of context XD).

Warning! Mention of past homophobia.
(Narrator POV)
The next seven years were pretty normal for the family of misfits. Babies, weddings, some crazy stuff that nobody would believe.

One of the first main events was the birth of Sam and Jess's first child.

They had a beautiful son with wavy dark brown hair, fair skin, and blue-green eyes. His full name was Dean Bobby Jody Winchester-Singer aka DB for short.

He was playful and curious beyond belief.

He was also the catalyst to Sam and Jess getting a little blue house not far from either Bobby and Jody, or Dean and Cas.

A new subject on the business front was that Dean, Benny, and Ash were able to start doing more restorations on cars just like they had planned. Soon enough, they were getting all kinds of mentions for their impeccable work. They even bought some old cars from Bobby, fixed them up, and sold them for more than they spent on the repairs.

Another development that happened not long after that was that Rowena and Ellen got together.

It was shocking to say the least, but everyone found that it sort of made sense once they thought about it.

Shortly after announcing their relationship, they moved in together in Rowena's mansion which meant that Charlie moved in with Jo above the Roadhouse.

Charlie and Jo also announced their relationship (everyone knew, but they were finally letting the family tell people and introduce them as girlfriends).

The reason that the two had kept it a secret for so long (since high school, turned out), wasn't because of the family at all. They knew how supportive and loving their family was and that they would never judge them.

The rest of the town though? Not so much.

There were a lot of people around them who weren't the most open-minded, and there were also a lot of people in the hunter community (and in the clientele of the Roadhouse) who were not very accepting.

Charlie had experienced a bit of the poor reactions when she first came out, but Jo hadn't come out and so she had been scared of the possibilities.

Both girls had also been around when rumors of Dean being bisexual had flown around their high school.

A lot of hate came his way from other students, their community in general, and the hunter populace.

Back then, Dean hadn't confirmed or denied anything.

All he did was put the bigots in their place.

It quickly became known not to go after Dean because he would tear you apart, either verbally or physically. The hunter training had stuck with him and ingrained itself in his very bones, the fighting techniques especially.

Everyone had already known not to mess with Sam because Dean would be on you faster than a cheetah on a gazelle, but that was the year it became clear that nobody near Dean would be hurt.

Charlie had become friends with him a few months before it all happened, and suddenly all the hate she had received seemed to vanish.

Because one look from Dean sent the haters packing.

Obviously, nobody could avoid or scare off all the hate, but Dean had a way of keeping the worst of it at bay. There were still awful things done and said, but consequences always seemed to follow for the guilty parties.
