Chaos returns "3"

The once crystal bright ceiling of the safe zone became a dark red , reflecting the flames that ate at whatever came across of it. The goliath walked aimlessly attacking at whatever moved in its line of sight, leaving behind a trail of destruction. its mission was simple , getting rid of whatever was harming the dungeon walls in the lower floors so it can repair itself .if anything or anyone managed to survive his attacks , they wont survive the monsters that swarmed the floor .

Bell jumped down running swiftly like a blur , The septic smell of death mixed with ashes hung over the battlefield , it didn't disturb his senses much ,he was already used to it. Hestia sword glyphs glowing intensely as he channeled fire magic in it. The pitch black blade turned to a bright white . wherever he passed only a flash followed by monsters falling down. His eyes were furious as he focused on the goliath up ahead .At some point the goliath seemed to notice the movement behind him as he turned around and opened his mouth to release his attack.

Bell who was charging his attack for all the run he made didn't even bother to stop or evade its attack. Stepping even faster , his body became a blur even for the goliath As it roared and launched his attack without knowing where its opponent were .

A huge shockwave was released , destroying a large portion of the burned forest . the goliath seemed to relax as he could no longer sense the human approaching him

"This is your end " Bell voice came from above the goliath , as he struck towards to voice source with his claw , however

*Splush*

The goliath hand fell to the ground with a stream of blood and a deep roar of pain

Bell with his flame wings back looked down at the boss from above , his blade was shining like a lighthouse while the pressure coming from him was threatening every creature on the ground around him

Hogni watched from afar , jaw dropping as Bell slaughtered everything in his way towards the goliath , his body was shivering in fear he didn't know he could still feel it .

" he wasn't even fighting us half hearted ,thank goodness for your judgment hedin , I will pay a meal for sure " hogni stuttered his words , cold sweat already socked his back from just watching the battle . He was in no shape to fight as he already consumed all his mana potions in his pursuit after bell ,he could only wait for his team to reach back here in time to save who ever could be saved .

From time to time he could spot some resistance from some survivors from the town, however the path between him and their location was filled with a swarm of different monsters , barbarians , plants, Elite lizardman and many other species that were not supposed to even be here

He turned his focus towards the goliath as the battle there reached its apex . He saw as the light from bell sword kept flashing like a lighthouse . then in the next moment the light exploded everywhere blinding everyone looking , hogni covered his eyes as he could no longer withstand looking at it ,before he could realize what happened , a huge explosion sound followed by a shockwave expanded from the goliath location towards every corner of the floor .

Monster near the center of the explosion were torn to pieces while others far away were sent flying.

Hogni drop his body to the floor in order to take cover from the winds .it took several minutes for the rubbles to stop falling and the smoke to clear around the battlefield .

Hogni's body froze for the second time today as he looked at the amount of damage the last attack made. The goliath was nowhere to be seen, in its place was a giant crater , 10 times bigger than the goliath itself.

The black elf gulped as he looked at the figure of a man wearing black leather armor , around his back the flame wings kept burning. The feat he made was far grater than what Hogni ever saw in his life . he saw as blood traced its way on bells face falling from his orange eyes.

" m-m-monster" he stuttered unconsciously ,

And as if bell could hear him , he turned his eyes towards him , just looking straight at bell made Hogni shivers in fear .

" I ll leave this place to you , there are some survivors in Revira , I ve cleared the monsters around the town , however there more coming from that tunnel .Make sure to finish things quickly and return to the surface, Orario is also under attack " Bell spoke in a deep loud voice , it was far different from his previous tone, it was as if 2 people were speaking at the same time .

Hogni not even caring to think about that right now , only noded and brought his crystal out , he cursed his luck for following this guy , he wanted to tell the others to hurry up

Finally after clearing most of the threat , Bell turned towards the knosos entrance , it was still open for some reason . He flapped his wings towards to entrance

" you need to rest " Fae spoke to him

" Orario is in danger, my goddess is in danger and everyone else , I need to hurry up Fae" he muttered wistfully as he pushed his body further despite the pain all over his body from using Eklektos , even if it was just a small charge , the fact of channeling a power higher than your rank still put a huge tall on his body .

Fae didn't really reply as she knew that he wouldn't listen to her no matter what , she channeled some of her healing flames to make his body recovers

" I know , just don't force me to watch you getting hurt you baka !" she muttered in low tone. Even after 2 years of rest , she still far away from being able to manifest her body again ,it was mainly because of bell relying on her power most of that time to survive , yet she regretted not being able to fight with him now more than ever. It was one of the reasons that she became less talkative with him, she really hated seeing him get hurt
