My theory is phone guy isn't purple guy.I mean,phone guy worked at 3 restaurants.Don't you think he would be firred?Also, Vincent a.k.a Purple Guy was stuffed in spring trap,yet you're getting phone guy's calls...so there different people. They could be but, phone guys calls are recorded message, as usual, and purple guys little cut scenes are a flashback. So, they could be the same person.
