Wilbur walked out of his room, yawning, "Good morning," he greeted Techno and Phil who were both in the kitchen. "What's for breakfast?" The question was a bit odd for Wilbur, it's been a while since he'd asked it and gotten an answer. The thought of being able to ask it more, recently, made him smile.

"Just some pancakes," Phil said, placing a plate of pancakes in the middle of the table. "Oh, also..." Phil placed strawberry jam in front of Wilbur. "I remember you mentioning you like them with this, so I bought some the other day."

Wilbur smiled, "Thanks."

"Techno, eat up, we're leaving in..." Phil glanced at the clock, "thirty minutes. I just have to fix up the car a bit." He waved before heading out.

"So," Techno started, "How's the whole reconciling going?" He asked, smirking.

"Fuck off," Wilbur rolled his eyes. Sure he was being a lot more smiley recently, but can you blame him? It was nice.

"We have two more days," Techno said, which made Wilbur stop eating.

The brunet lowered his fork a tad, "Yeah..." If what the Dream Team said was accurate, Tommy should be waking up in around 10 days since the incident. Today was the eighth, but instead of feeling happy, a bunch of 'What ifs' were flying through his mind, and he couldn't help but feel nervous.

An uneasy feeling settled in his chest as he faced Techno, "What if he doesn't wake up?" He asked. "Dream said Tommy could be stuck there if he believed the world was real enough, right?"

"That's why we talk to him," Techno said, "If what we say influences his dream, maybe it'll make him realize that he's dreaming. We just...have to talk to him more."

Wilbur lets out a frustrated sigh, "I know...it's just, how are we even sure that he hears us? I wish there was a more effective way, ya know?" He took a bite out of his pancake. Wilbur saw Techno shift on his seat, looking like he was contemplating on something. He opened his mouth to point it out when Phil's voice broke through the silence first.

"Come on you two! I fixed the car!"

"Yeah, in a bit!" Wilbur exclaimed, hurrying up with breakfast. In his peripherals, he could see Techno doing the same.

They reached the hospital just as visiting time started. The three of them headed into Tommy's room and found the boy sleeping. Of course he was. Wilbur couldn't help but feel disappointed. "Hey Toms," he greeted, taking a seat on his usual stool next to Tommy's bed.

"Hi Tommy," Phil ran his hand through Tommy's hair, smiling fondly.

"Guess what we did yesterday?" Wilbur started, "We went shopping for camping gear! Phil said he'd be taking us camping sometime in the next few weeks."

"Yeah, you won't believe how much mosquito repellant Wilbur bought," Techno said.

"I'd rather that nobody complains about mosquito bites," Phil sighed.

"Yeah, me neither, but did he really have to buy five cans?" Techno asked.

"They're small cans!"

"We're camping for two days, one night."

"Exactly!" Wilbur exclaimed, "Tommy, do you hear this bullshit?"

They were met with silence, yet Wilbur nodded, "Yeah, fuck that bitch right?" He couldn't help but chuckle imagining how Tommy would react.

Techno rolled his eyes, directing his attention to his sleeping brother, "Well, if you ever feel the need to go against Wilbur, now would be a perfect time to wake up."
