"Have you found something?" Kylo asked.

I clicked on another site and while waiting for it to open, I glance at my side.

"No. I already told you that nobody has ever proved the existence of the multiverse. There's only one universe which is our own."

He clenched his jaw. "I know it isn't proven yet. But at the same time, nobody can also disprove that theory. We cannot really tell unless we witness it. At this point, with all these strange phenomena, can we still deny it?"

I started reading the texts carefully.

"Here, take a look at this," I said and motioned the screen. "Under the inflation theory or the swift expansion of our universe right after the big bang, is the concept called eternal inflation. It states that the inflation continues to other dimensions or places and every time it ends on a specific place, a new universe forms. However, since the inflation is eternal which means that universes continuously expand, those bubble universes won't be able to reach one another."

"So, Vilenkin suggests that because universes are drifting away from each other, there is certainly no way that we could enter another dimension like what I was telling you?" he confirmed which earned a single nod from me.

"The drifting speed is much faster than the actual speed of light so... that's a yes."

I scrolled through the article and searched for more information. Kylo moved his chair closer to me and abandoned the computer in front of him and focused on mine.

"Van, stop right there," he commanded. I obliged and stared at him who's now busy reading that certain part where I stopped.

"There is another world in which a different quantum outcome becomes reality..." he read and then stopped.

"So the whole theory tells us that there is or should I say, there are many different versions of us in different universes out there. But then, according to this text that those bubble universes are far from one another and our lives there could either be slightly or entirely different from our lives on earth. We'll never know it."

Looking back on the happenings since last night, I am starting to realize that this whole theory does make sense. Comprehending the statements and concepts being slapped at my face right now, I am starting to believe the impossible.

I sighed heavily. "The Kylo in universe one could be making different decisions and choices from the Kylo living in universe two and universe three," wala sa sariling nasabi ko.

"That is what's happening to us, Vine! Our lives are now different compared to our lives yesterday and the day before that.

"You're right." I gave up. "T-That parallel universe theory m-must be true. There's no other way to explain it.
