My sobs and frightful screams probably reached the other family members' senses that they came rushing inside my room just to check what was happening. My sisters surrounded me as my mother here put one arm over my shoulders.

"What's wrong, Vine? Why are you crying?"

"Did something happen?"

"We heard you crying from downstairs!"

I could feel my entire body trembling in fear. My breathing is unstable as these tears continuously consume me.

If it weren't for the forceful shake I think Ate Lyka did to my body, I would've passed out in great devastation.

"What's happening to you?!"

"K-Kylo..." that's all I managed to say.

"Kylo? Who's that?" Mama asked.

"Ate, c-can you drive for me? I-I think my friend's in danger..." I uttered with my lips trembling.

She nodded in a heartbeat. "Of course!"

"I'll come with you," ani Ate Lyka.

I heard Mama release a sigh. "Where exactly are y'all going?"

I inhaled before opening my mouth.

"I-I don't know... but he might be just somewhere near. H-He's actually the friend I was supposed to meet for d-dinner."

Mama actually didn't want to let us but I persisted and my sisters here backed me up. They all promised to take care of me, not permitting Mama to come with us because she might get stressed. I don't actually know what happened for all I could think about is Kylo's situation right now.

From the noise I heard, something surely happened on his way here. The loud screeching of his wheels, the disturbing car's brake sounds, and his words were enough to prove that he was not safe right now. I'm afraid to even think that he probably is in a critical situation.

"Calm down, Vine." Ate Lyka held my hand, all sweaty from the nervousness that fills me up, like a severe storm is quaking my entire body. At this moment, I feel like my heart's about to leap out of my mouth.

Her comfort was appreciated silently but it actually didn't do anything. This is exactly what I felt upon finding out about that fire incident where Miss Bellinda died but just a hundred times worse.

We drove through different parts of our town looking for any hints of Kylo's whereabouts until we stumbled upon the alarming sound of an ambulance.

When we got near the long bridge where we spotted the ambulance stopped, Ate Amor immediately parked her car. I was sniffing as I dried my tears up to somehow clear my vision even just a little bit.
