"The medical professionals have managed to analyse the situation of the zombie outbreak in South Korea. It turns out that the scientists at Seoul National Lab were trying to develop a fungus that would cure cancer by targeting cancer cells by consuming them but instead, the fungus attaches itself to the nervous system and the brain causing the infected to go feral and attack any human nearby to spread further. They only spread if you get bitten by an infected," the man on the news explains as Lia cuddles closer to Jungkook.

"The fungal infection travels through your veins into your nervous system. The further you get bitten from the brain, the slower the fungus takes to act up. If you get bitten around your neck or shoulder, you'll likely turn in about fifteen or thirty minutes. If you get bitten towards your arm or wrist, the average observation is about two to three hours. An infection travelling up from the leg is said to take about four to six hours on average. The infected hosts are said to be sensitive to noise. If you ever happen to come across one of the infected, please try to make minimum noise and plan your escape from the place. Currently, the doctors have not found any treatment or cure since this is a newly found fungus. Please stay safe," the man on the news sighs, "The ship at the dock to Japan deports at 9 PM. Please try to make it to the docks before it leaves. Since the situation is severe, the government has no choice but to leave some citizens behind."

"Are we there?" Lia asks in fear. What if the ship leaves them? They'd be stuck in this hell with no way out.

"Yeah, almost," the driver replies, "A few more turns and we'll be there."

"The other men?" Jungkook asks, "Are they safe?"

"We have four cars full of men following us and three are already at the dock," Hoseok states.

"We haven't lost any men, right?" Jungkook shifts in his seat when Lia tries to lay her head on his lap.

"We lost a few at the company," Hoseoks sighs, "And almost all our employees I'm assuming. God help those who survived."

Lia whimpers unable to get comfortable.

"Baby- What's wrong?" Jungkook asks patting her back softly. She was always a baby when she was around Jungkook and he loved it.

"I just- I don't know," she frowns, "I'm so scared."

Jungkook chuckles softly, "Don't worry, Lia. When The Jeon Jungkook is with you, you'll be safe."

"Will Korea be okay?" Lia furrows her brows thinking about her favourite cafe, "Will I be able to visit my favourite places again?"

"I'm not sure, darling," Jungkook coos, "But I promise we'll be okay. I'll make sure you're always with me, okay? I'll never let go."

"I'm gonna hit you if you let me go," Lia scowls holding onto Jungkook's shirt, "Are you gonna do the same thing in Japan too? Lock me at home and go away-"

"I'll follow you around like your puppy, baby," Jungkook cuts her off, "I'll go where you are. I'll be where you want me to be. Whatever you want."

"You're my puppy?" Lia chuckles softly taking it lightly as a joke.

But he wasn't. He was serious, "Hmm, yes. Han Lia," he smirks, "I'm your puppy. You can use me."

Lia bites back a peal of laughter seeing Jungkook so lovesick. But what can she say? She's loving it. She loves all of his attention. She reaches up ruffling his hair. He grins and places a kiss on her shoulder.

"We're here, sir," the driver says as the car comes to a halt. Jungkook looks around to see soldiers marching around getting people out of their cars and almost stripping people to check for bites. Jungkook holds Lia tighter seeing that they didn't hesitate to strip women either to check. They weren't to blame but there was no way Jungkook would let them check Lia like that.
