Jungkook's POV
She hits the floor and cries out falling into my arms. Her sobs were breaking me. It's okay. I'll fix this. I'll fix everything. She'll be okay. I'll be okay. We'll be okay together.
"It's okay," I kiss the top of her head, "Yes, just calm down. It's okay to be selfish. This world doesn't deserve your kindness, cupcake."
She sniffs into my chest.
"I'm so sorry," I whisper, "Let me take care of you, my pretty girl. You're okay, alright? Let go. I got you, cupcake. I got you."
I lift her limp body in my arms. This time she didn't put up a fight. She was still and curling up into my body. I kiss her forehead softly, "Let's clean you up and feed you, alright?"
I get no reply. It reminds me of the time when she was a zombie. No replies. Nothing in return. I'd talk and talk continuously wanting, craving a reply. This was different though. She was here. She's capable of giving me a reply but she's choosing not to. I'm fine with that. I have her close to me. I can take care of her the way she deserves now.
I place her on the counter in the bathroom. She rests her back on the wall, deep in thought. Tears softly ran down her face. I run the bath and look at her. I take a towel and wet it, bringing it to her face and wiping her face, mostly around her mouth. I keep the towel aside and slowly remove her shirt.
"Help me get your pant off, cupcake?" I ask and she nods so softly I might not have detected it if I blinked. I pull at the waistband of the pant and she lifts her hip. I smile and slide it off smoothly. My eyes linger on her ribcage protruding from her skin. She needs to eat more. She's so weak. It's alright. There was time for all of that. I would fix her, every broken part of her.
I turn around to realise that the tub is filled. I turn it off and go back to her.
"Can we get them off?" I kiss her shoulder and bring my fingers to her bra strap. She nods again and I press another kiss to her shoulder before stripping her down. I pick her up and place her into the tub. She shivers slightly.
"Too cold?" I take her wrist and place a small kiss.
She shakes her head as she zones out.
"I have all your favourite bath bombs," I get up and open the cupboards beneath the sink, "Which one do you want today, sugar?"
She hiccups softly, "Do you- Do you have the elepha-"
"Blueberry elephant ones?" I chuckle softly. Of course, that's her favourite one. I have everything she likes, "Yes, cupcake. I have those."
"I want those," she sniffs, "Blue elephants," she whispers to herself before smiling softly, eyes watering painfully, "All alone with them," she chuckles.
I freeze not knowing what she was talking about, "Baby?"
"All alone with them," she repeats, "I used them a lot. Especially when I was alone."
"Why don't we try the citrus bomb?" I ask her trying to deviate from the topic. Maybe I should get her detached from the things she did when she was alone.
"No," she says firmly, "I want the blue elephants."
"Alright," I sigh and take them out, "Your blue elephants," I smile and drop them in the tub. She looks at the bath bomb deforming in the water.
