Third Person's POV

Lia growls and struggles against the men holding her down. Jungkook stalks towards her with the vaccine in his hand.

"I love you, Lia," Jungkook declares, "You know that, right?"

He takes the syringe out of its packet and stabs it into the vaccine bottle, "I know you know," he smiles as he kneels in front of her.

"Stay still, okay?" He says softly, "This will hurt a bit."

The needle of the syringe pierces her dead flesh. He injects the vaccine and stands up.

"Leave us," he tells his men and they quietly shuffle out of the room. Jungkook notices no change in her. She was still the undead zombie she turned into three years ago. Any hope, any belief in him was wiped away as she continues to snarl and growl brainlessly at him pathetically.

Jungkook scoffs at his attempt to cure her, "Why did I even think it'd work?"

"You'll never become what you were once," he spits at her harshly out of anger after all her feelings or emotions didn't matter. Not anymore anyway...

She was a zombie. She didn't have any.

It's not like he cared when she did either. This was his punishment. You'd only realise the value of something when it's gone.

He didn't take her love and emotions when she was full of them. Now that she doesn't have any he wants it. He misses and craves it.

"You'll never be my Lia," he falls to his knees crying, "You'll never be her. She was so lively. So full of emotions."

"YOU'LL NEVER BE HER!" He yells at her and she flinches and falls back from the sheer force of his yell.

"I- I wish I had her," he sobs, "I want her. I miss her. I want her back, please. Give her back to me."

He stumbles closer to her, "Come back to me," he sniffs, "You know I love you, right? I'll give you everything you want. You just have to ask. I'll love you the way you deserved to be loved. I'll worship the ground you walk on."

"Give her back to me!" He goes closer and Lia almost pounces on him but he gets pulled back.

"JUNGKOOK!" Hoseok yells as he drags him back, "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?"

"I want her back, Hyung," he cries as Hoseok cradles him looking at Lia, "I want her back."

"Jungkook," Hoseok sighs, "I'm- I'm sorry."

"I need her," he sobs painfully, "What am I without her love? I'm tired," he whispers, "I'm so tired."

Hoseok purses his lips. He didn't have any comforting words for Jungkook. He looks up at Lia reaching and trying to grab at them. He smiles pitifully at her. It's not her fault. She should have been killed the second she was turning. Jungkook perhaps would have moved on then. He would have found something else to live for.

"Let's go to your room, alright?" He says softly pulling Jungkook up and taking him to his room.

"Lie down and rest, okay?" Hoseok pats Jungkook's shoulder softly and leaves the room.

-

"Stop!" She hisses as she returns to drawing, "What are you trying to do?"

"You're drawing someone," Jungkook frowns, "Who is it?"

"It's just one of my friends, Jungkook," Lia says softly, "It's her birthday tomorrow."
