Jungkook's POV
"Baby!" I grin as I walk into the room holding a tray of her favourites, "I've made all your favourite dishes and see-" I look around to see no one in the room. I assume she's in the bathroom and set the tray down on the bed.
"Lia?" I walk towards the bathroom, "Baby, are you in the bathroom?"
I don't hear a reply so I open the bathroom slowly, "My cupcake? My pretty girl? You in here?"
I frown noticing that she isn't in the bathroom. I walk outside and into the room thinking of calling Hoseok but soon I realise that he's out doing some work.
"Where did she go?" I frown and leave the room, "Lia? Baby?" I call out to her, "Where'd you go? You need to rest, my sugar. I promise you I'll give you a house tour later," I smile as I think of showing her around our dream house, "Cupcake?"
"You need to rest, baby," I sigh to myself and walk downstairs to hear a thud near Lia's old room. My eyes widen in realisation. Please don't tell me she's gone there-
"Lia!" I find her sitting near the doorstep of the room. No, no, no, this can't be. Just play it cool. She doesn't have to know. She shouldn't know.
"What is this room-?" She asks, crawling back away from the room and I scoop her up into my arms.
"It's alright," I hold her tight, "It's nothing to worry about. Why did you leave your bed? You need to rest."
"What is that room?" She pushes against me almost falling off and I slowly place her fighting figure down.
"It's nothing, cupcake," I smile at her, "Come on now. You should rest as the doctor told you. You need to be well rested and recovered so I can take you on that vacation I promised. Just us, sugar. Just us. Like you wanted. We'll have so much fun together. So much time together-"
"JUNGKOOK, STOP IT!" She yells at me when I try to approach her, "Stop this and answer my question!"
"Baby..." I sigh, "That's your old room. We kept you there. That's all. I know it looks disgusting but you were a zombie. We couldn't exactly clean it," I chuckle as she shakes her head.
"Listen-"
"Why are there chunks of meat on the floor?" She asks, her eyes watering. No, no, no, please no. This can't be happening.
"I-" I pause thinking about my next words carefully, "You were a zombie, cupcake. You had to eat to survive."
"What," she swallows breathing heavily, "did you feed me?"
"Meat-" I reply trying not to reveal much information. She'll freak out. She can't know. She can't know. She'll try to leave. I should just lock her in our room.
"What kind?" She asks fuming. I was scared not only because I didn't know how to reply but also because she seemed extremely angry and too fragile.
"Lia-" I chuckle, "Just meat. Why are you worrying about it? We have other things to think about! Like that vacation you deserve and, all the things you wanna buy. Perhaps a new house? This one is getting old now-"
"I asked," she breathes in, "What. Kind."
"Baby," I try to get near her, "You're overthinking it. Come on now," I open my arms to hold her, "Let me take you back to the room so you can eat. The food's getting cold. Come on."
"I ASKED A QUESTION!" She yells moving back.
"And I answered it, cupcake," I reply softly and reach out to her again, "Come here. Let me take care of you."
