Camila's POV

Her eyes lit up and gestured the man to enter the room. "Good morning, Ma'am." Sevann greeted the teacher with so much formality in his tone.

He was wearing a slacks, and a white long sleeves and, it was folded to his elbows. I could tell that he was from his work, and yet, he chooses to attend the meeting, but late. His eyes were both looked tired.

The teacher's eyes narrowed as she looked at the man in front of her. "Good morning. Sino ngang anak mo ulit?" She asked as she looked at her master list.

He looked at his watch before answering the teacher. "Madrid, Polyn." He answered as he nodded at the teacher.

The teacher nodded as she pointed the name of Polyn.

"Don't give too much compliments, Ma'am." He said another remark.

"I will.. uh.. go back to my seat, Ma'am." I said and was about to leave when the teacher stopped me.

"Wait, Camila," She said and gave me the card. "You need to sign the card before going back." She commanded as she handed me her ball pen.

They continued talking while I am signing the card. The teacher flipped the card over so I could see my daughter's high grades.

He looked at me after glancing at our daughter's card. He pushed his tongue against his cheek while breathing softly. A little smirk was plastered on his face.

I raised a brow when he looked at me, deeply. He also glanced at me with confused look, but eh still managed to give me a small smile. "Your... child is doing exceptionally well in class." He said, slowly.

I was stiffened when I heard him talked.

"Where is her mother? I was shocked when I saw you here." The teacher started talking to the man. I could tell that she was happy seeing him. Hindi ko alam kung magkakilala silang dalawa.

"Patricia is in her work. She asked me to attend the meeting, but as a doctor with strict work, I had to attend the meeting late." Sevann talked, so much seriousness filled his eyes and voice.

A licensed doctor... I smiled at the back of my mind while listening to their topic. I focused on my phone while waiting for the end of the meeting.
