Anakin and I walked down the hall to meet the cadets.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said. "Just bad nightmares keeping me up at night."
"I think you should talk to Master Yoda about them" he said.
"I don't know" I said. "I'll be fine."
I forced a smile as the doors opened to reveal the cadets.
"Morning, troops" Anakin said.
"Welcome aboard the Jedi cruiser Endurance" I said. "I am Luna Organa and this is-"
"Anakin Skywalker. Welcome aboard" he said interrupting me. "Today you'll see how a real working Jedi cruiser operates and you'll have the chance to serve right alongside two Jedi Knights."
I smiled at the cadets as they all talked to each other with excitment. I looked at one of the cadets who was the only one not smiling. I turned around as Gree walked towards us.
"Generals, new orders from General Kenobi await you in the war room, immediately" he said.
"Another time then" Anakin said.
I walked beside Anakin who looked saddened.
"You seem more disappointed than our cadets" I said.
"It's our job to instruct and inspire" he said.
"You just wanted to show off" I said.
"Hey, when I show off, it is instructive" he said. "And inspiring."
"Yeah, okay" I winked.
After our briefing with Obi-Wan, I set back to my quarters, looking at the tablet in my hand. I went to click the button to open the door as a clone walked over.
"Sir, General Skywalker requests your presence on the bridge" he said.
"I was just with him" I said. "I'll be there shortly."
I pressed the button as the doors whooshed open.
"The general requests your presence immediately, sir" he said.
"I can never catch a break" I said. "Put this inside my quarters, would you?"
I handed him the tablet as I began to walk away. An explosion went off as I levitated the troopers body to me. I took his helmet off to see his eyes closed.
"Are you all right?" I asked.
There was no response as clones ran to me. I stood up walking to my quarters. I looked around at the burnt room. I looked to my left as Anakin stood next to me.
"You're lucky to be alive, Luna" he said. "And your trooper?"
"Dead" I said.
"This was no accident" he said.
"I agree" I said.
Anakin looked around, sighing.
"Ships navigation is nearby" he said.
"Admiral, has the navigation been damaged?" I asked holding up my arm.
"Hobbled, not destroyed" he responded. "Systems are repairable. I've ordered the shutdown of all engines until we're fully operational. We'll hold orbit over Vanqor."
"Any sign of attack ships?" Anakin asked.
"None. But we'll keep scanning" he said. "Until we get navigation back, the Endurance is a fat and easy target. I won't have it. Killian out."
