Prologue

"Kaley, I heard you finally rent a dorm near our school? Is it true?"

biglang tanung ng kaibigan ko.

"Y-yeah.."

pilit ngiti kong sagot.

Both of them eventually frowned.

"Well, I guess that's better... Kaysa naman manatili ka pa dun sa family mo!"

bakas ang inis na usal ni Faye, at mahigpit na kumapit sa balikat ko.

I smiled.

"Yup! Nga pala! Nakita ko yung bwisit mong brother kahapon.. sa labas ng gate! Ikaw ata  sadya nun!"

biglaang sabi ni Rea.

Napatigil naman kami tatlo sa paglalakad.

I scowled.

"Really?.. That asshole! How dare him trying to show his godd*mn face to our Kaley!"

bakas ang galit at malakas na sigaw ni Faye.

Napangiti nalang din ako at tinapik tapik ang likuran niya para pakalmahin ito.

Hindi ko sila masisisi na galit sila sa pamilya ko.

Honestly, I also don't ever considered those people as my family.

The time I spent with those people are like living on the darkness through out my entire life.

Like a cage where I can't get out even if I wanted to.

But that ends last month.

Thanks to this two beside me and their parents, I was able to escape from that suffocating cage.

Because they helped me that I finally break free from the fathomless cage disguise as a 'family'.

I got a part time job and rent a dorm not far from my school.

"Why do you think that guy is looking for you, Kaley?" tanong ni Rea.

Napakibit balikat naman ako.

Curious din ako sa rason ng lalaking yun.

That guy, my brother didn't even care nor accept my existence nung andun pa ako nakatira sa bahay nila.

And now..

That's really impossible!

*Ting

"Ah"

"Phone mo ata yun"

Sabi ni Faye. Tumango naman ako at nilabas ang cp ko mula sa bag.

"Sino at ano sabi? Patingin!"
