"Kailangan mo ba talagang umalis agad, Ate Kaley..?"
malungkot na tanong ni Joseph
Malungkot naman akong tumango at mahigpit din na yumakap pabalik rito.
Madaling araw pa lang kaya walang masyadong tao.

"Kelan ka babalik?"

Rinig kong malakas na pagbuntong hininga ni Nevel sa gilid namin. Tumingala kami pareho ni Joseph sa kanya. Napakamot nalang sa ulo niya si Nevel at tumingin sa amin ng diretso.
"Kaley... you two should go already!"
She said cheerfully.
Napalaki naman ng konti ang mga mata ko.

Seryosong saad ni Nevel while looking at me direct to the eyes.
My frown faded.

Joseph made her infamous puppy eyes to me.

I sweat dropped. At naiiyak na tumingin kay Nevel. She just smiled widely at me!

"Umalis na kayo naghihintay na si Manong Droz!"
sabi ni nevel at itinulak na ako palapit sa karwahe na sasakyan namin.
Teka..what about Joseph's belongings?
"T-Teka... Nevel! What about Joseph---"
"Oh, you mean.. mga gamit niya?... Tapos ko na balutin..Nasa karwahe na lahat!"

She said and tinulak ako ulit papasok ng karwahe.
She closed the door and looked at us from oitside the carriage's door.
"You must return in order for you to do that... I will be waiting to you guys! Have a safe trip!"
Sabi niya at she smiled genuinely.
"Take care of each other got it?! And oh! Joseph!... remember that I'll punish you if you let Kaley get hurt!!"
wait what?
bakit ako?
She should be saying that i'll get punished if hahayaan kong masaktan ang kapatid niya!
"I'll remember it!"
sigaw pabalik ni Joseph.
Nagsimula ng umandar ang karwahe.
Umupo na naman ng maaayos si Joseph. His smile never faded.
His cat ears are still standing straightly, his tails are wiggling.. He's really happy...
Well, It's not bad..
Mas mabuti na siguro to kaysa palagi ko siyang mamimiss. At least... hindi ko na nararamdaman na mag isa ako.
Maybe this journey will get more interesting..
"Joseph.. are you really that happy?"
"Of course! I love Ate Kaley the most! I wont let you get hurt! I'll protect you! I promised that!"
