NATE'S POV:

(Flashback)

"I have to use the restroom ill be right back", says Astrid.

I nod.

I go to pull out my phone when I heard multiple pairs of footsteps running up the stairs.

"NATE NATE! DUDE YOU GOTTA GET DOWN HERE", Macie yells.

Marcus is beside her, so is Zack.

They looked worried.

"Jules just passed out dude!", Marcus says.

I get up and look at the bathroom. "I uh-..."

"Come on bro, jules needs us!", Zack says following Marcus and Macie back downstairs.

I sigh, I follow them downstairs.

Astrid will okay. She's just in the bathroom...

(After the incident with jules.)

"Yes im okay!! I just need to go home and rest", jules insists.

We all nod. I push through people and head back upstairs.

The bathroom door was wide open.

"Astrid??"

I look around upstairs to confirm shes not upstairs.

I run downstairs, I couldn't see her through all these people.

"Dude where is astrid?", I say asking Jake.

"I haven't seen her since drink or dare."

I asked everyone who could've saw her,  no one knew where she was.

I sat down at the island in the kitchen. I was freaking out.

"Fuck dude I promised I'd look after her..", I say rubbing my hands on my face.

"I think she's okay, jules just left, and so did alot of other people.  I'm sure she went home with one of them since she couldn't find you.", Marcus reassures me.

I nod slowly. "Then im going home."

"Hey has anyone seen Zack?", a girl named Anna asks.

We all say no.

Huh weird...

"He was probably one of the people to go home.", Jake says. "Besides alot of people have left anyways. You guys should probably get headed home too

We all nod and tell eachother bye.

I walk out to my jeep to see Zack was gone.

As I start my jeep, and pull out I see what looks like a person walking. I couldn't tell since it was so dark. But I just shrugged it off.

(At home)

I race in the door, and wall upstairs to Astrids room.

"Astrid?", I say knocking on the door.

No answer.

"Nate? Why are you home so late."

I turn around to see my dad.

"Oh uh..."

He sighs. "Were you at a party?"

I nod. "Im sorry but I have to find astrid."

I go into her room, expecting her to be asleep.

Only...she wasn't there.

"Oh fuck."

I pull out my phone and start calling her frantically. Each time to no answer. I started texting her with no answer either.

"Where is she??", Hadley asks.

"I don't know!!!", I say getting frustrated because I was nervous.

"If she's not home in the next hour your in big trouble nate.", says Hadley before walking out of the room.

I start pacing, thinking about where she could've gone.

I was sitting on her bed, when I got a call from jules.

(On the phone)

"Hello??"

"Nate Astrids no home right?"

"No. I'm fucking freaking out. She won't answer me calls. I haven't seen her for at least almost 2 hours."

"Okay. Well Jake just called me to come get Astrid. "

"What!?!?! Shes still at his house?!?"

"Yes dude. Jake said something happened. She looks awful."

"Fuck...just bring her home. I'll take care of her from then."

"Okay im here I gotta go bye!"

I hang up. I yell at myself for not watching her better.

About thirty mintues later I hear a car pull up.

I run downstairs to see Hadley and Astrids mom already at the door.

Astrid walks in the door. Fucking hell.

A few words and she's running upstairs.

I follow after her. But she just runs into her bathroom and locks the door. I begged for her to come out. But she never did.

I go into my bedroom, I start punching things. I'm such a fucking idiot!! She trusted me to watch her and I didn't.

I threw a glass bottle at the wall out of anger. It shattered as soon as it hit the wall.

I punched my bed. My pillows. The wall. I even put a whole in the wall.

At first I didnt hear my phone.

Then I felt it buzz then stop. I picked it up to see 3 missed calls from Zack. The fuck? I pressed call. After the first ring he picked up.

"What do you want?!?!?"

"I just wanted to say...", zacks next words killed me inside...

"..i won the bet..."
