Hello all! Sorry for posting later but like it says in my description, I do this for fun, not to stress so I'll post when I want. Thank you all for being so patient though, I know it's almost been 2 weeks. If there are any hate comments to me or anybody including Camilo or other users they will be deleted.

Waking up, I feel an arm around my waist. I turn around to see Camilo Madrigal fast asleep, gripping my body close to him.

'What in all of Colombia happened?' I think to myself as my breathing picks up. I remove his arm as gently as I can, trying not to wake him.

I slide away and off the bed, looking out the window. It's dark and the night sky is clear. I tiptoe around and walk out of the room, closing the door as quietly as I can.

I run down the stairs and reach for the door handle as someone grabs my arm. It's Dolores Madrigal.

"Where do you think you're going? Camilo will be so happy to see that you're ok." My heart is racing and I'm so scared I don't know what to do.

"Why would he care? You don't even know me, this family doesn't know me." I whisper-shout and tug my arm out of her grasp.

She furrows her brows and tilts her head. "(Y/n)? Are you alright? What do you mean we don't know you?"

She walks closer to me and I back against the door. "What's the last thing you remember?" She asks me.

"I um.. I finished babysitting and fell asleep." Saying very little, I move from the door and start to walk backwards through the courtyard.

"How long have you lived here?" She prys deeper. My breathing is out of control and I can feel my palms start to sweat.

"(Y/n), I'm not gonna hurt you. I understand you're stressed but there's nothing to worry about. I just need to know how long you've lived here." She says calmly.

I start to breathe slowly, in and out. "Um.. 2 years." I hesitate. Her face turns to horror and she grabs my hand, pulling me back upstairs.

She knocks quickly on Julieta's door, being careful not to wake anybody else up. Agustin answers but without permission, she bolts us into her room.

"Tia, somethings wrong. (Y/n) can't remember anything from the past 2 years." Julieta sits up in her bed and Agustin turns on all the lights.

"What are you talking about Dolores?" She sounds confused and too tired to process much.

"I found (Y/n) running out of the house before I stopped her. Her pulse was racing and when I asked how long she's lived here she only said 2 years. She doesn't remember anything."

Agustin comes over and helps Julieta up off the bed. "But.. ok slow down. You're telling me (Y/n) has no memory of us?" Dolores nods slowly, still holding my wrist.

"That doesn't make any sense, I gave her my soup. God, Camilo would be crushed." Julieta puts on a rob and slips on her slippers.

"We can try something else. I'll make some arepas and maybe that will help." My head feels like it's spinning, what the hell is going on?

We all walk down to the kitchen and Dolores sits me in a chair. "I'm sorry, I'm just a bit confused. What's happening?" I question as Julieta turns towards me.

"Everything will be cleared up soon. But for now, you're just going to have to trust us." She reaches up and grabs the Masarepa mix, pouring some into a bowl.

"I do, this is all just so mind-boggling." I respond. She mixes in the water and begins to shape the dough. "Listen, (Y/n)."

Dolores comes up to me. "You came into our family not long ago thanks to Camilo. I know you don't remember anything but I need you to try. Camilo cares so much about you and I know you do him."

The worry in her eyes is genuine, like she really wants me and Camilo to be happy. I sigh. "I'll do what I can."

The arepas are placed on the stove as Casita moves some salt over for a small topping ingredient.

"But, wait, you're telling me that I'm dating Camilo Madrigal? The shapeshifter?" My face changes to stunned and I let out a soft chuckle.

Casita moves her tiles and slides over a plate with an arepa. "This should do it." Julieta says. I pick it up and take a bite.

"Well? Are you remembering anything?" I take another bite and shake my head. "I'm sorry. Nothing's come up."

No one says anything, their faces spread with worry and confusion. "That doesn't make any sense. How can my cooking not work?"

Julieta looks down to her hands and we all stay still. "I'm sorry I couldn't be of much help. I wish I could remember. Thanks for trying anyway."

I stand up and start my way back to the front door. As I do, I feel myself accidentally skip a step down and I trip, falling on the tiled floor, blacking out.
