*Chapter Ten*

  He looks at me shocked, expecting me to have been scared or angry

  "What do you mean, that's unexpected, why are you not scared?" He looks so utterly confused. It was adorable

  "Why would I be scared?" I said smiling, " You have not hurt me once, and you have treated me so kindly, I don't see a reason for me to be scared."

  "I'm a vampire. A dangerous creature. Also why are you not surprised?" He looks in to my eyes, scanning them, like he was trying to find the answer on his own

  "Well, it was obvious that you were not human. You are extremely cold, you never eat, and, well you literally pushed a van away from me." I tell him. Honestly it wasn't that hard to put the clues together, all you have to do is have a little common sense.

  "I guess that makes sense." He says and looks at me.

  It goes silent for a couple of moments before we both, randomly start laughing uncontrollably.

Why, you might ask, to be honest I don't know, and I don't think he does either. There is just something so funny about all this. He was so worried to tell me about life changing news when he didn't have to be worried, and then I accept it without argument. I honestly think I am losing my mind.

  "Why is this so funny?" He asks having a hard time catching his breathe

  "I don't know." I laugh

  After a few more good moments of laughter, we finally managed to calm down. We sit back on the log we were on before and start talking

  "So, is it just you who is a vampire or is your whole family?"

  "My whole family are vampires, Carlisle is our coven leader, then Esme is basically our coven mother. We really are a family even if not by blood." He tells me with a smile

  I smile back at him, happy that he is comfortable enough with me to talk to me about being a vampire

  " Edward, is technically the third oldest, he has the ability to read minds." He stops talking to give me time to process what he just said

  "Wow, so can all of you read minds." I ask, silently hoping not, because with the thoughts I've had around Emmett it would surely be embarrassing.

  "No, that's just Edward. Not all vampires are blessed with extra abilities. They say once you turn into a Vampire you bring a human trait with you, basically before Edward had turned into a vampire he was really good at reading people, knowing what they want, and stuff like that." He explains

  I nod at him letting him know that I am paying attention and understand,

  "So, what about the others?" I ask, silently hoping I am not being intrusive

  " Well, Alice can see the future, but only glimpses, and it's not always true," he explains, and I give him a curious look, so he goes into more detail. "The future is never certain, it depends on peoples choices, so Alice may see someone going somewhere, but they change their minds before they do, so it changes her vision."

  "Oh, ok." I say, so he knows I understand

  "Ok," he says smiling, "Now Jasper can sense emotions, basically if you are upset or something he will know, he can also manipulate emotions. Now, Daniel and Rosalie are well know for their beauty. I mean, all vampires are beautiful, but they are just, more. I, obviously, was blessed with strength." He sends me a teasing look and starts to flex his muscles.

  I shake my head while laughing, trust Emmett to make light out of a Sirius (any harry potter fans) situation.

I only notice then how dark it is.

  "Well, we better get back to my house, it's quite dark now." I tell him. He smiles at me while I grab his hand. He guides me out of the woods and into the house.

  "I'll take the couch while you go to your room?" He walks over to me and gives me a sweet peck on the lips

  " Okay, goodnight." I smile at him and head to bed
