"Correct fellow writers pleasantly; if they will mock you, do not bother to correct them again."

•••

As much as we want to help our fellow writers grow by pointing out and correcting their errors in a nice way, but we know that there are some who are not eager to learn. They will scorn you or insult you. They will cover their eyes and ears because they are reluctant to seeing and hearing the truth. The Bible states, "So don't bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you. But correct the wise, and they will love you." (Proverbs 9:8)

Do not be consumed by reproving those who despise wisdom; rather save your time and effort to teach those who love it — the wise.
