the other writers."

One thing that makes writers frustrated is that they keep on tracking the growth of others and comparing it to themselves. We should bear in mind that every writer has its own pace. Your middle might be their beginning, your final round might be their middle, and vice versa. There is no such thing as equal when it comes to speed of each racer in the literary field that you are in. As what Max Ehrmann explains, "For always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself." Some writers may gain thousands of reads or followers in just a matter of overnight. Some also may take years for their craft to be discovered by numerous readers.

Enjoy every little process of yourself. Avoid comparison! We will all get there.
