CHAPTER 11 - GAIA('S) FINEST

LIVELY CITY, GAIA ???

Speed appeared out of a portal in the middle of a busy street. Time was slowed down and he examined his surroundings. He noticed a female Gardevoir falling from a skyscraper.

Speed ran up the side of the building and grabbed the Gardevoir. Except he kept running. He ran all the way outside the city and into the badlands where he finally stopped

He dropped the Gardevoir which was wearing a white long sleeved shirt and grey jeans

Speed noticed she was on fire: "You're on fire!"

He noticed where she was on fire and quickly pulled his paws away

The Gardevoir put the fire out herself

Speed: "You don't seem that bothered by the fact that you're on fire."

Gardevoir: "I didn't need you to save me."

Speed chuckled: "You just fell from a skyscraper. So if I hadn't been there, you would have gone splat."

Gardevoir: "I have to get back to the city."

Speed: "Okay..."

He cut himself off when she flew up and off into the sky. Her clothes fell on him and he caught them

Speed: "What the what...That's a new one. I thought I was the impossible."

He darted after the Gardevoir and finally caught up to her. She landed back on the ground. Speed noticed she wore a blue suit with an "S" on the center of her chest, she also had a red cape on her back

Speed: "How did you do that?"

The Gardevoir introduced herself: "I'm Supergirl."

Speed: "You're who now?"

She grabbed her ear: "Sorry, I was just a little...disoriented from the scream. How did you save me?"

Speed: "Well, you fell out a window and I caught you and ran you all the way out here. Which I did not mean to do but I've been working on my powers and...Guess I'm faster than I thought."

Supergirl: "Who are you?"

Speed: "I'm The Flash."

Supergirl: "The who now?"

Speed: "Wait, do you not know who I am?"

The Gardevoir shook her head

Speed: "What about the Green Arrow? Firestorm? Zoom?"

She continued shaking her head: "Sorry."

Speed sighed: "Oh, boy. Not as sorry as I am."

He took off his cowl and revealed his face

Speed: "Hey, I'm Speed Allen I'm the fastest mon alive. Also think I am on the wrong Gaia. I'm gonna need your help."

TIMESKIP

The two were back in the city, Supergirl had her regular clothes back on and Speed was out of his suit. He sitting in a chair and looking things up on the computer

Supergirl: "So what do you mean, you're from another Gaia? What, how many other Gaias are there other than this one? You know, we're Gaia."

Speed finished searching and found nothing: "I don't understand. What...You guys have Plasma Town but you don't have S.T.A.R. Labs. No Trace Ramon, no Alexander
Wells, no Pearl Snow."

Speed stood up from the chair: "No mon who's gonna be able to help me get back home."

Two mons then crashed through the door, an Electivire and a Hydregion
