Fixed marriage

CARMENA MERCEDES 

"Sandali lang, Ino!" I grabbed his hand before he could reach the door.
"Kausapin mo nga ako!" Gigil na gigil kong pag tanong. Lately, hindi ko na ito siya naiintinidhan e! Konti nalang, at baka makabasag na ako ng plato sa harap niya.

He shifted hiscold, irritated gaze on me, "What is it, Carmen?!" he asked, his voice irritated, as if he didn't understand why I wanted to talk to him.

I scoffed in astonishment, "I know you were the one who arranged everything! GOD DAMN YOU, INO!" I stomped my foot before continuing.

"You're substituting our son's happiness for what?! Money?! I've got a lot of that!, gusto mo ako pa bibigay sa iyo?! Ha?! Magkano ba kailangan mo?!"

"It's not about money, Carmen! If you'll just let me do my plans—" I knew what he was going to say next, which is why I cut him off.

"I'll let you do your plans and then after that, what?! What, Ino?! Mawawala anak natin?! 'Yan ba ang gusto mo?!" I smacked his right shoulder, 
"SUMAGOT KA! GUSTO MO BANG MAWALA ANAK NATIN?!"

"NO! DAMN IT, FUCKING, DAMN IT! " Ino placed a hand on his head, striving to calm himself down for a moment.

"Ino," I called, attempting to calm my voice down so we could at least understand each other.

"Do you remember when I lost Azariah?"

"Not now, Carmen." He keeps calling me Carmen these days, but it doesn't upset me at all. What disturbs me the most is the scary prospect of losing my one and only son.

"I lost Azariah the night you left me because you went to Barcelona, Ino," I said as I turned to face him, tears in my eyes,
"You abandoned Azariah in my womb, you abandoned me in the hospital, for what? Your company?" Hindi pa ba 'yon sapat na aral for him to choose his committment for his family before his business?

"That's not the case here." 

"That's not the case here?" I asked dishonorably. I felt very betrayed.
"What do you mean that's not the case here? Ino, please naman? Makinig ka sa 'kin for once? Iniwan mo kami ni Azariah just for your business. Tapos ngayon, ibebenta mo anak natin for Alexandra?" I can't stand it anymore. It's become unbearable for me. My chest felt like it was going to burst.

"AND WHAT ARE MY OTHER OPTIONS?!?" he exclaimed, turning to face me.

His yell caused me to hit him across the face, "Potanginang negosyo 'yan." I went away after turning around. It's pointless for me to converse with my Ino in this manner. Parehong maiinit ang ulo namin ngayon. Pareho rin kaming ayaw makinig sa isa't isa.

"Shocks?! Daniel Solentino is said to have a fixed marriage na daw??" Tanong ng babaeng nakaputi ang damit, na naka shades, who just walk passed me.

"Di ba sabi nila meron daw'ng GF si Daniel here sa uni natin?" 

It's been a day since hindi pa nakakauwi si Sol. Nakalabas nalang ko sa hospital, wala pa ring balita. Hindi ko rin alam kung may plano pa ba 'yon magbigay ng dugo kay Omorfia, dahil kung puwede lang ibigay ko dugo kay Omorfia, talagang ibibigay ko pati kaluluwa ko.

Kahapon lang rin may lumabas na balita na isa sa mga famous adult-CEO's dito sa Davao ay ikakasal na daw. Ayaw ko naman sanang maniwala sa anong nangyayari, pero unting- unti, nawawalan na ako ng tiwala sa boyfriend ko.

I want to hear everything from him. I want to know kung anong nangyayari sa life niya. 

"VIA! VIA!" Tawag sa akin ni Andy.

"Yes?" 

"Wala pa akong dugo nakita para kay Omorfia. Tinanong ko rin si Yjie, sabi niya wala rin." Sabi ni Andy. And little by little, gusto ko na ring maniwala na mawawala na si Omorfia sa aking mga kamay.
"Hoy, sumagot ka naman! 'Wag ka mag sige tanga!" 

I laughed softly as I wiped my tears that were about to drop, "Ewan ko, Andy." Ewan ko rin anong isasagot ko. Pareho lang kaming wala makitang dugo.

"Andito lang naman pala kayong dalawa!" Sabi ng pamilyar na boses na nasa likuran lang namin.

"Perfect timing, Jie! Natanong mo na ba kay Daniel about sa dugo ni Omorfia?" 

"Wala nga daw siyang nakita e." Sagot ni Yjie kay Andy. 
"Tsaka isa pa, have you heard the news about Daniel and Alexa?" Yjie questionned in a worried-tone of voice.

"Kaloka! E no'ng isang araw lang nga natin nakasama at nakausap si Daniel tapos ngayon, ito nanaman ang balita? Ano ba?" Andy placed both of his hands on his waist and he sighed.

After school, I went to the pet hospital. I couldn't wait any longer to see Omorfia and Arketa. I want to hug and kiss them already. Buti pa ang anak namin ni Sol, sila nalang nakakaintindi sa 'kin.

Pag pasok nang pag pasok ko sa hospital, it somehow felt like nasa akin lahat nakatitig mga mata.
