Chapter 12
"Papa, the talent show is today!" I heard Minmay yell.
"What Minmay," I groaned.
"Papa, did she leave you out of the loop?" Minmay giggled.
"No, she never does that Minmay," I told my daughter.
This was far from the truth. I was in a rocky marriage with my wife Shigeyo. I decided to tag along with Minmay to see what was going on. Not long after, my wife's car arrived.
"Are you ready for the talent show?" my wife asked her.
She narrowed her eyes upon seeing me.
"Paul, what are you doing here?" Shigeyo glared.
"I want to know what's going on," I told her.
"Fine, come with me," she responded sighing.
We got in the car and arrived somewhere unexpected...
