Chapter 13
I looked up at Flashman records. I knew that Shigeyo's brother Kaifun was in a prominent position here. He was the lowest of the low and had been a thorn in my side.
"Hey sis!" he said exiting the building.
He glared when he saw me.
"What's he doing here..." Kaifun grumbled.
"Paul just wanted to see Minmay in action," she said through gritted teeth.
"Very well," he sighed.
I was led into the studio building. Everything seemed extremely fancy. That's when I saw him.
"Hello Minmay," a man said wearing a tacky suit.
"Uncle Funky!" Minmay cried.
I had heard rumors about Don "Funky" Flashman. Kaifun claimed that Flashman made children into stars. Was this her plan? To use Funky to strip my daughter away from me?! I wouldn't let her do it!
"I can't allow you to do this Minmay," I told my wife.
"Don't be hostile or I'll make you leave," she responded.
I proceeded to approach Minmay.
"Minmay don't listen to your Mama-" I began.
"Security!" my wife screamed.
Two men proceeded to drag me out of the building. That was the last time I would see Minmay for a lot of years.
