I was so pissed that this shit was bout to escalate into a fight. I know Audi got hands but what I was wondering was what made Heaven think she had the right to fight for me I just met shorty. I shake my head and look at A'Jarae.
"What don't look at me like that." she said
"Damn Sin still be having groupies." Ashley laughed
"I ain't got shit Ash I just met shorty tonight." I said
"Whatever it don't matter my buzz has worn off and I'm starving." A'Jarae said
"Me too Let's go to the Waffle House." Ashley replied
"Hey I'm down." Taz said
"Who invited you?" Ashley asked
"Girl stop playing. You know if u weren't with ol' boy you would be on me." Taz replied
We all started laughing.
"Whatever what are we doing?" Ashley asked
"Let's go eat." I say
We all head out of the club. I pulled Taz to the side.
"Take my car and take Ashley with you so i can talk to audi."
"Alright man I got you." he said
"Alright so we will meet yall at the Waffle house." I said
"Ok don't be getting your freak on." Taz said
I pull audi to walk with me before she started protesting.
"Where did you park?" I asked her
She looked at me and pointed towards my car. i look and see the truck next to my car and shake my head.
"Next to my car huh?" I laugh
She laughs. " I thought about you when I parked next to it remembering yours and it was." she says
"Gotta love that fate stuff I guess.'
"Whatever." she replies
She unlocks the truck and I get in I see her talking to Ashley then watch her as she gets in. She starts the car and follows Taz. I turn the music down and look at her. I look at her and she her glance my way.
"What?" she asks
"What have you been up to?" I ask
"Nothing working, taking care of the kids. What about you?"
"Nothing just working and chilling.And wondering where the hell you were." I replied truthfully
"I had to leave." she replied
"Why?"
"I can't tell you." she replied
And at that moment I felt like I had just got slapped.
"What do you mean you can't tell me." I asked getting angry
"Exactly what I said." she replied
I sighed and decided to give up on that topic for now.
"So how are the kids I miss them." I said
"They're good Zaire is here with his father and Brandon is down with his."
I don't know why hearing that Brandon was with his father upset maybe because for the first 6 years of his life I was the only father he knew. I turn my face away from A'Jarae and look out the window to see that we were pulling up to the diner. She parks and shuts the car off. I fell her grab my hand and jump. I look at her.
"Are you ready to go in." she asks
I shake my head and turn towards the door. I quickly turn to ask her something only to see her close her door and head to the door of the restaurant. She turns and looks at me with a worried look. I sigh and get out and head to the door to meet her.
