It has been nine years and there has been no word from Technoblade, not even a letter the only thing that they heard about Techno was the rumors of a creature - human something tearing kingdoms to shreds and leaving no one behind Phil knew it was his son and he made sure Wilbur and Tommy didn't hear about their older brother

Philza and Kristin missed their son, Tommy missed him too he just didn't understand why he left, Wilbur couldn't have felt more angry, betrayed or hurt by his older brother who seemed to just abandon him he didn't really talk to Phil anymore either he didn't even teach him his fencing anymore due to what had happened years earlier, even though Wilburs relationship with Philza was strained; his relationship with Tommy was very strong, possibly due to the fact that Wilbur felt Techno had abandoned him and Wilbur refused to do that to Tommy.

Wilbur had come up to the dining table for breakfast, he'd been getting there either very late or very early to avoid his dad, but this morning he figured he'd endure the awkward silence and go down and eat breakfast with his family

He sat down next to Tommy and he was across from his mother father was sitting at the head of the table as usual

"Hey slacker finally decided to join us huh?" Tommy said elbowing his brother trying to annoy him

Wilbur didn't say anything he just let a smile tug at the corners of his mouth, sat down and ran his hand through his brown somewhat curly hair that hung over his eyes

He grabbed a plate and started putting food onto it

He started eating his food mindlessly taking bites

Tommy was talking while he ate his food like he'd always done, he always had so much to say, Wilbur never understood why because he was more reserved

"Hey Wil what are your plans for today?" Tommy asked his big brother who was slumped over in his chair, his hand holding up his head

Kristen looked over at her brown haired son and frowned "Wilbur, posture" she said kindly correcting her son

Wilbur corrected himself without saying anything to his mother, sitting back in his seat "I'll probably just walk around the village I don't know" Wilbur shrugged

"We'll do you want to-" Tommy said excitedly before getting interrupted

"He'll be in his politics class that he has been skipping for the past two weeks" Phil said looking at his son with a fatherly
'Your in big trouble' look

"Well maybe if the class wasn't so gods damned boring maybe I would go" Wilbur said ignoring his fathers glare and responding with sass

"Wilbur you'll have to learn to do things you don't like to do that's just part of life" Phil said sitting forward in his seat with his hands in front of him, he looked at his son with a side glance

"I'm an adult why do I still have to take meaningless classes that I'll never use" Wilbur said annoyed and rolling his eyes

"It's not meaningless you will use it, you'll be king one day and you will be grateful you took it" Phil said looking at his son with a stern face

They all went silent for a moment at the thought of Wilbur being king and not Techno

Wilbur looked down at the table somberly and stood up from his seat and left the room his brown jacket shuffling against his shirt

"Wil don't-" Tommy pleaded looking at his older brother as he walked out the door

Kristin looked at Phil and slightly shook her head and looked down

"Why'd you have to do that dad, he finally came back and you had to shove him away again" Tommy said angrily balling up his napkin that was in his lap and throwing it on the table
