Chapter 25: The Journey

They rode for a couple hours the sun was blazing down on the group they were riding through a plains that had no shade, Philza flying high in the sky and the rest on horseback, Techno suggested a break for the horses, they all agreed

They all dismounted, and sat down in the tall grass, Techno grabbed his canteen and took a nice swig of the somewhat cold water, he looked at his brothers who were sitting next to each other sweating profusely, Drista pulled her green hood off of her head her blonde hair glowing in the sun, they all sat around awkwardly for a moment, before Tommy piped up, "So Drista- how old are you?" Tommy asked look over at the blonde girl sitting across from him, Drista had a confused look on her face, Wilbur elbowed Tommy- "ow what was that for!" Tommy yelped, "never ask a girl her age Tommy!" He said with a serious look on his face

"Why do you ask?" She asked confused, "I dunno just wondering" Tommy shrugged

"Well I honestly- don't really know the years- really run together when you are immortal" the girl shrugged, she seemed to be younger than Tommy but she was definitely thousands of years old, "So you are older than Techno?" Tommy asked, "Probably" the girl shrugged and looked over at Techno who seemed to be lost in his own thoughts

"Are you older than dad?" Tommy asked inquisitively looking at the girl

"definitely not, Philza is- different" Drista paused and looked at the sky where a black speck was circling above them almost like he was watching to make sure no one would make a wrong move or he would strike.

"how so" Wilbur chimed in now curious

"Well- for one he's not scared of my brother, and that's a feat in and of itself- its strange-" Drista paused, "your father- is worshiped by many people- they call him- the crow father-" she paused- Wilbur and Tommy burst out laughing- "crow father- what a stupid name-" they both mocked- Techno stifled a laugh-

"I wouldn't mock them- the people that fear him call him the Angel of Death, Icarus- some people even think he created this land-" Drista acknowledged quietly- "is it true-?" Wilbur questioned- Drista smirked and looked up at him- "who am I to say what's true and what's not- I'm just another pawn-" she whispered that last part- to quiet for anyone to hear-

"what about the fire god?" Wilbur asked, "Sapnap?- he's an idiot he listens to anything Dream says and does it without a second thought" Drista replied

Techno smirked, "I knew it"

Drista chuckled and took a swig of her water, Wilbur wiped the sweat off his forehead with his white sleeve and stood up off the ground, "I think we'd better keep moving" Wilbur said as he mounted Firecracker, Techno nodded and Tommy and Drista mounted their horses

Philza saw something in the distance, a village, he quickly descended from the sky, and came down to the ground, Techno stopped, turned his head to see his father, "there's a village up ahead" Philza said to his son, Wilbur didn't stop as early and had to back up to see his father, Philza mounted the horse behind his son

They rode for about ten minutes and came to the village, that wasn't necessarily busy but not quiet, They rode slowly through it to make sure they didn't hit anyone, then someone screamed, "It's Technoblade!" A woman screamed in fear, Techno quickly turned his head to see the woman, Techno didn't even recognize this woman she was just some stranger, but she knew him, Techno just had a confused look on his face, all the people turned to see what the fuss was about and everyone started scrambling, "what the hell" Tommy said loudly over the yelling, then Techno knew what was happening, "oh dear gods no" Techno said out loud as he watched the people scatter, the voices laughed, "Phil we need to get out of here- now" Techno said somewhat frantically, Phil nodded and they started to ride quickly, but carefully out of the village
