Chapter 12: The News

Techno waited in the pavilion for Tommy, he was late, Techno expected it he never could wake up on time, but that was when he was little Techno thought maybe he'd gotten better, he was wrong

Techno walked back into the castle and walked to Tommy's room, opened the door and found the blonde still sound asleep on his bed, "Tommy" Techno said loudly, waking the young blonde

"wha- what?" Tommy said sleepily his eyes still closed

"you were supposed to be in the training pavilion thirty minutes ago" Techno said annoyed, tapping his foot against the floor

Tommy finally woke up enough to realize what was happening, "oh yeah yeah give me five minutes and I'll be down!" Tommy said now fully awake he was excited to train with his big brother

"alright if you aren't there our deal is off" Techno said leaving Tommy before he could respond

Tommy got dressed quickly and ran down to the training pavilion he saw Techno standing there looking annoyed

"Finally thought you'd never get here" Techno said as he rolled his eyes "grab your sword" Techno said pointing his sword towards the chest

Tommy grabbed his sword out of the chest, and took his stance, the incorrect stance like he did the day before, Techno shook his head

"Ok what's wrong with it?" Tommy asked he knew what Techno was shaking his head at

"Your right foot" Techno said to his little brother, Tommy moved his foot and miraculously found the right spot as Techno pointed to it with the tip of his blade

Techno didn't hesitate in showing the boy how he was right on his position, he ran towards Tommy bringing his sword down on his, the sound of the two blades echoed in the little courtyard, this time Tommy was able to stand his ground, if it wasn't for the fact that Techno was a thousand times stronger than him he would've kept it. Tommy fell backwards landing on his back, but quickly got up making sure he didn't show any signs of pain, Techno raised his eyebrow at this but it didn't matter, the lesson went on for about two hours, Techno knocked Tommy down countless times, each time Tommy got back up without hesitation, he wanted to learn and he wanted to show his big brother that he could do it, and he did.

Techno just gave Tommy a subtle nod of approval whenever he did something right, this made Tommy very happy and gave him more encouragement to keep going.

"That's our lesson for today" Techno said after knocking Tommy down on last time and giving him a hand up

Tommy never beat Techno that day but he planned on it

One day Tommy thought with a smile

It was the afternoon now, Wilbur was in his room laying on his bed looking at his shoes, he couldn't tell if he was happy or angry that his big brother just showed up after being gone for so long, he just came and showed up out of nowhere after being gone for years, he left for nine years and Tommy still worships him, child, he left, he left me to be the next king, he left me to be the big brother, he put it all on me, Wilbur thought angrily then he thought, he didn't ever come back before, so why did he come back now?, Wilbur thought wondering, what is the purpose he wouldn't just come back to just come back, he has a reason.
