Chapter 22: The Visit

Philza, Techno, and Ranboo walked down the dark hallway, they stopped at a cell, a guard stood at attention to his king, Philza nodded at the guard to open the door, the guard took a key ring off of his black belt it seemed to have hundreds of keys on it and unlocked the giant locks on the huge heavy door, it creaked loudly as it opened

Phil walked in and a white bed in the corner of the room and not really much else, but he also saw a prisoner dressed in an orange jumpsuit, the Fire god he was facing the black wall his hands and feet cuffed, he turned around slowly to see his visitors, Techno and Ranboo followed close behind, "Ah Angel of Death, Blood god, and Ranboo- is it? I've been waiting for your visit" Sapnap smiled sinisterly as he looked at the people standing in front of him

Ranboo looked at the god confused, how does he know who I am? I've never even really met this man, he looked over at Techno and looked back at the Fire god

"Don't speak to us like we're your old mates, I have questions and you will answer them" Phil demanded his wings started to puff up a bit but were still close behind him, "Oh I doubt that very much" Sapnap smiled up at the Angel of Death with a sinister glee in his eye, his hands cuffed behind his back as he looked at the king with no fear in his eyes

"Well I have ways of getting you to talk" Techno snapped angrily, the voices chanted Blood for the Blood god!, his hands balled into fists, Sapnap just smiled again, "I have nothing to lose do whatever you want to me. you seem to forget I'm immortal" He chuckled and watched Techno get more angry, Ranboo looked over at Techno almost pleading with him not to get angry, Techno saw the look of his brother stopped and calmed himself down

"Ah I see the Blood god can be tamed easily- with the look of a child" Sapnap smiled and looked at Techno he saw his face turn to anger once again, Techno started to walk over to the god who was standing about ten feet away from them, Phil put his hand up to halt his sons anger, Techno held back once again, the voices were getting louder, Tamed we cannot be tamed! Show him who he's talking to Blood god, We aren't some puppy in fear of his master, Techno held the voices back, his fists still balled up in anger they were starting to turn white

"Enough" Phil said to both Sapnap and Techno, Techno listened and stepped back again "if you have nothing to lose then you have nothing to lose by answering my questions" Phil said in a demanding angry tone, Sapnap didn't respond, "Why did Dream come to my kingdom?" Phil asked still in a demanding manner, "I think you know the answer to that" Sapnap replied calmly with a hint of power behind his voice, Philza continued to ask Sapnap questions, he often wouldn't answer or would answer with some stupid quip

Phil had only a couple more questions he wanted answered he asked his next one with caution and reverence"Why did- Dream kill my- Wife" Phil asked his question, Sapnap smiled, "You know the answer to that one too, would you like me to spell it out for you?" Techno face flushed over again with anger at this gods disrespect of his mother

he ran at the god before Philza could stop him, he punched him in the stomach- hard, Sapnap fell to the ground hunched over on his knees laughing and coughing up a bit of blood, "Technoblade!" Phil scolded, Techno turned to meet his fathers angry face, "Out- now.." Phil said as he looked at his son he pointed towards the door, Techno face was still angry, he turned back to Sapnap he saw a grin on his face blood dripping down his chin

Techno turned back to walk out of the cell, then the Fire god said something, "I'll never understand your love for pathetic mortals" he chuckled, Techno wanted to kill him right then and there, but he restrained himself and just walked out of the cell his red cape whipping behind him as he walked back down the dark halls

"You've got one more question to answer and you will answer this one" Phil said in a demanding tone once again, "Where is- Dream?" Phil asked looking down at Sapnap, who was looking at the ground, warm blood dripping from his mouth onto the black stone floor, Sapnap just looked at the floor he wasn't going to respond, "What? Do you not know where your master is?" Ranboo interjected, Phil looked surprised but knew where Ranboo was going with this
