Emma walked into her workplace with Rogers. He had his arm around her shoulder and moved it down to her waist,
she turned to say something but was interrupted by her boss who didn't look happy at all
"Emma Swan, in my office right now!"
"Hey cranky pants, I don't think the other office you own heard you" Emma responded annoyed, "just go wait in my office" he ordered annoyed "I'm going, I'm going" she sighed.
Emma & Rogers exchanged looks before he took his hand away, "you'll finish the tour later right?" He asked, kissing her cheek. "Why? It's not like you wouldn't know the place" she answered seemingly annoyed before walking to Killian's office
Killian grabbed Rogers by his collar and dragged him to the other room "What the bloody hell is wrong with you?"
"Nice to see you too cousin" Rogers Smiled
"Cut the crap, what are you doing here?" Killian asked sternly
"Isn't it obvious?, I'm visiting the old neighborhood" Rogers answered, Killian shoved him against the wall "No it isn't, this isn't even a neighborhood"
"The Lass invited, she's over you. deal with it" Rogers pushed Killian off him
"don't go hurting her like you did when we were kids"
"As I recall you're the one that broke her heart" Rogers reminded
"Rogers stay away from Emma"
"No, in fact, she's hired" Rogers smirked
-FLASHBACK-
Emma was coming offstage after finishing her play in, Graham pulled her into a hug right away
"Em, that was an amazing performance" he kissed her cheek, "thanks Graham" she smiled, slightly glancing at Killian,
"we should go to Granny's to celebrate, you coming Killian?" Graham asked, "I'll pass" he said starting to walk off, "okay then" Graham sighed "let's go Emma",
"you go ahead, ask Lilly and August if they want to come too, I need to do something quickly" Emma suggested,
Graham nodded and went to go find them while Emma followed Killian "Hey Blue Eyes, what's gotten into you? I've never heard you pass up Granny's" she asked
"Not in the mood to eat" he muttered not stopping
Emma didn't like that answer, catching the lie she grabbed his hand and pulled him around so they were face to face "Oh common, just look at me"
"I am" he rolled his eyes
"Killy, don't lie to me, I know you better than that" Emma reminded.
He groaned "my cousin's in town, and my parents want me to hang out with him. There! Happy?"
"It was just a question, no need to get defensive"
"There is a need, you're annoying and my cousin is, it's like you two are a match made in heaven"
"Fine, bring him over," Emma said stubbornly. Killian rolled his eyes "Bloody hell you're so stubborn, it was sarcasm", "well you're stubborn too, and we BOTH know that you weren't being sarcastic" she said
"You're impossible"
"And you're rude"
"No, I'm logical. My cousin is an ass"
"Must run in the family" Emma muttered
"Hey! I heard that" Killian said offended
"Good!'
Later that day Emma was at Granny's with the others when Killian walked in with a boy who had lighter hair and eyes than him
Emma was shocked "oh look, it's Jones 2.0" she smiled… ''Jones 2.0… huh, is that a good thing or bad?'' She thought to herself
Killian rolled his eyes "Har Har miss Swan". The boy that looked identical to Killian turned his attention towards Emma
"My you are a beautiful lass" he said taking her hand "the name's Rogers" the boy kissed the back of her hand
Emma raised her eyebrow
"Well you do have a name right?, Or should I just call you Miss Swan? Or Emeralds?" Rogers asked
Emma stumbled on her words and blushed "Well I-" she felt someone rip her hand away from Rogers, it was Killian
"Rogers stop being such a pervert and say hi to everyone else" Killian said annoyed
"Right…." Rogers said embarrassed, Emma looked just as embarrassed
"Rogers these are my friends, Graham, August, Lilly and Emma is just the tag along"
Emma gasped, offended "Hey!"
"Just speaking the truth"
"Hey, that's alright, I'd love to be a tag along with you" Rogers winked
Emma rolled her eyes
After lunch Emma was walking home by herself "Emeralds!" A voice called
"Rogers no!" Killian said through his teeth, Emma pretended not to hear
Rogers dragged Killian across the street with him "Emeralds common, we'll walk you to your house"
"It's okay I can manage" Emma said
"Nonsense, a fine lass like yourself deserves an escort"
"Swan, I suggest you just say yes, he's not gonna stop this" Killian whispered
"But I DON'T wanna"
"Swan trust me please" Killian begged
Emma sighed giving in
Killian walked into his room when he noticed Rogers doing something, "Rogers what are you up to?" He asked annoyed
"Bird watching" Rogers answered
Killian looked over "where are the birds?"
Rogers pointed at the telescope
Killian looked through and noticed Emma immediately
"Rogers that's Emma" Killian unamused, he looked back "Rogers she's changing!"
Rogers tried to push Killian aside "I know, that's the best part" he laughed
Killian shoved Rogers hard "No stop, you can't watch my neighbour change!"
Rogers looked out the window "welp, you've been caught"
The next thing Killian knew was that Emma was no longer at her window
"Killian! Someone's here to see you!" Brennan called
Killian turned towards his door, nervous "Coming father!"
Emma was standing, arms crossed at his door "Jones", her fists were clenched tight. "E-Emma I can explain it- ow!" Killian cried grabbing his now broken nose "Emma-"
"You stay away from me!" She turned on her heels and left
"Let's go son" Brennan put his arm on Killian's shoulder and grabbed tightly
"Yes sir" he sighed
