Hii :) this was a request, and was originally a girl x boy fanfiction, but since my audience is 90% women, I'll make this a neutral reader x yae miko.

"Can someone please help me..?"

You were walking to the shrine, on your way to draw a slot to determine your luck tomorrow. You didn't want to believe in it, but it was right every single time. It was around 9pm and the shine is empty.

You heard small sniffles and decided to take a detour to find why they cries are coming from.

"Hic... sir/miss, sorry for bothering you, but can you help me get that blue kite out of the Sacred Sakura tree? I was testing it but it flew away and got stuck... sniff." The little boy wiped his tears, pointing at a blue kite that's tangled on tree branches.

"Sorry, but I'm afraid your favor is a bit too-"

"Please!"

The little boy placed his palms together and kneeled in front of you.

You had no choice but to climb the tree. Reaching the kite wasn't some easy task. There are shrine maidens patrolled then area, and climbing the tree itself, was difficult.

"Thank you thank you thank you, I'll repay you with this crown I found!" He smiled, pulling out a talent ascension material from his bag.

You are lacking that, so you climbed from one branch to another, slowly reaching out for the blue kite, tangled within cherry blossoms.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" The little boy squealed, hugging himself.

You couldn't help but let out a little laugh before taking the kite from the tree. You jumped down the tree, handing the little boy his kite.

He giggled and bowed politely, and handed you the crown. He then ran away quickly, leaving the crown in your hands.

"My, my, what a courageous person."

You looked back to see a lady with pink hair smiling at you with dull eyes.

"You're the first one to climb this tree." She said, fanning herself.

"I'm sorry." You bowed, face flushed from both embarrassment and the pretty lady.

"Yae Miko."

"Huh?"

"My name's Yae Miko, if you don't know."

"U-Um, (Y/N). That's.. my name." You stuttered awkwardly.

Her gentle, pink hair swayed in the wind as her ears twitched slightly.

"(Y/N)... how interesting." She said seriously, putting her hand to her chin, then chuckled. "We should get to know each other more."

"Sorry..? I'm really sorry, I was just helping the little boy. I'm sorry for committing a crime, can I compensate in any way?" You asked.

Her tail swished left and right, as she pondered.

"I'd really like to get to know you a bit more you know. How does a cup of tea sound to you?" She smirked, inching closer towards you.

"Sure...?" You said hesitantly, not sure why she'd want to know more about you.

"Aw, Komodo's Teahouse is closed.." she sighed as if she didn't know that already.

"Yae-San... I think all places are closed now. It's quite late after all."

"It's alright, let's drop the formalities, yes?" She chuckled sliding her finger from your neck to your stomach, causing you to shiver. "There's one last place that hasn't closed yet."

You nodded for her to continue.

"Yukishiro Motel."
