You were rummaging through your closet placing clothes all over your bed, trying to find something good to wear.

"Ugh does he like traditional clothing? I don't know... why did I even ask him out...? I don't even know where i'm meeting him." You groaned.

You slipped on something casual and left the house. You were strolling in the streets, hoping you'd bump into him. But you bumped into someone else.

"Heyyyy (Y/N), looking pretty hmmm?" Yoimiya teased you, poking you on the sides.

"Hahaha yea, so I asked a guy out yesterday and we're going on a date today..?"

"YOU WHAT AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?" Yoimiya screamed, dragging you to her house.

"I DIDN'T KNOW WHY I ASKED AYATO OUT EITHER???" You screamed back, finally unleashing your anxiety.

"YOU ASKED THE KAMISATO AYATO OUT ON A DATE?! ARE YOU CRAZY? AND WHAT ARE YOU WEARING??? YOU CAN'T WEAR THAT ON A DATE WITH AYATO!!" Yoimiya scurried around, grabbing all sorts of clothes from her closet and putting them next to you to see if you'd look good in them.

"You have so many clothes and you still wear bandages."

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT (Y/N) HOW ARE YOU NOT FREAKING OUT??" Yoimiya yelled from the closet.

"I AM FREAKING OUT." You screamed back, trying on some of her clothes.

"Hey... that's perfect." Yoimiya gasped at what you were wearing.

You were wearing one of her sort of traditional kimono adapted clothing that complimented your body and tone well.

"Girl you look so hotttt. When's the date?"

"Dunno."

"Where are y'all meeting?"

"No idea."

"So you guys don't know each other?"

"He doesn't even know my name."

"(Y/N) you are the craziest person i've ever met."

It was now the evening when Yoimiya kicked you out of her house after you touched up on your hair and makeup (anything), when you felt a familiar warmth approach you from behind.

"Hey." You looked away and smiled.

"Hi." He smiled back.

"Do you want to skip the formalities from now on...?" You asked.

"Oh sure, of course."

And you dolled yourself up for me I see?" Ayato raised his eyebrows and smiled amusingly.

"Actually my friend Yoimiya told me to change. I don't usually dress up this much." You replied looking into his eyes.

"You're friends with Yoimiya I see? She's quite the firecracker." Ayato chuckled, strolling with you doan the stony path.

You felt your stomach sink a little as if you already caught feelings.

"Yoimiya is really funny. I'm afraid this is a bit too.."

"Glamorous?"

"Sorry?"

"No i meant you.. you look very pretty." Ayato put a hand on his mouth slightly blushing and looking away.

You smiled, seeing that Ayato also caught the contagious feelings.

"Do you want to sit down? There's a pretty ledge over there." You said nonchalantly, secretly cursing to yourself.
