[𝟕] 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠

𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧

Your hands were filled with bags so you had to use your elbow to open the elevator doors, for some reason some days the elevator doors had to be manually opened by the buttons instead of opening on themselves and unfortunately today was one of those days.

You had a bunch of bags in one hand while you had your handbag in your other, your laptop was sitting underneath your arm and you had a dress bag thrown over your shoulder.

You really didn't want to make a second trip back down to your car so you were dedicated to bringing everything up all at once which was kind of a mistake because your laptop kept slipping between your body.

The elevator doors opened so you stepped off of the elevator and to your surprise you were met with Sasha, she wore a bright smile on her lips but she soon turned confused once she saw all the items you were carrying.

"Hey Sas-" you paused and clutched your laptop to your body, you slid your bag onto your arm and held out your finger to Sasha.

Your eyes fluttered as your nose started to tickle and for a moment it felt like you were getting edged by your nose because nothing was happening "Are you oka-"

Your head dropped down as you let out a small sneeze, you adjusted your eyes open and sniffled a little "Sorry about that Sash" you said with a soft smile.

"Are you-" she paused for a moment "Do you want help with all of that?" she offered but you knew it was her lunch break and you didn't want to hold her up.

"Don't worry, I can handle this" you assured, you stepped out of her way so that she could step onto the elevator.

"By the way tomorrow we're having lunch together!" she said before the door closed.

You started to make your way down to the office and as you walked down the hallway you felt your nose tingle again "Please no" you quietly begged to yourself and your words had seemed to work.

The key twisted in the door and you used your body to push open the door, you don't think you have ever been so relieved to see your office.

You placed your handbag and the dress bag onto the seat and placed the bags of shopping onto the floor, you slid your laptop onto your desk and exhaled a breath.

You pulled your arms out of your coat and hung it up on the hook and looked down at your watch. You saw that you still had twenty minutes of your lunch left so you grabbed the mug from your desk and walked out of your office.

You made your way down to the kitchen and on your way you saw Connie in his office so you waved at him, once you reached the kitchen you grabbed the kettle and stood near the sink to pour water inside.

While you were there you cleaned out your mug and placed it on the drying rack for a moment, you placed the kettle back onto the holder and turned the switch on.

The water started to boil so you opened up the fridge and searched through the different shelves to find what you were looking for, the honey and lemon came into your view so you grabbed both items out of the fridge.

You used your foot to close the door and leaned across the counter to grab your mug from the drying rack, as you held the mug in your hand your nose started to twitch again and this time it had caught you by surprise.
