When Jisung got home from school that same day he immediately went to his room and searched for videos to teach him more sign language.

Not only because he wanted to have more conversations with Minho but also because she feared the pretty boy thought he was stupid considering his lack of knowledge in the class subject.

He wasn't sure why he was putting so much effort into having a conversation with someone he knew absolutely nothing about. Maybe he was really just that curious about the pretty boy.

Part of him wondered if Minho was lonely. Everyone thought he was rude for not talking but maybe he couldn't talk. He wanted to be someone that Minho could talk to if he ever wanted to.

"Jisung sweetie, I haven't seen you at all today. You didn't even say hi to me when you came home."

"Sorry, I was studying." He said, pausing the video and looking up at his mom who was looking back at him, confused.

"Since when do you study?"

"Remember the pretty boy in my sign language class?"

"That makes more sense." She replied with a small laugh, "take a break and come eat dinner."

Jisung was about to decline but his mother walked away before he could. He enthusiastically walked downstairs to eat dinner.

After that...well he didn't get very much sleep that night and it was very obvious to everyone around him the next day.

Jisung was so out of it that he hadn't even realized he had turned his head towards Minho as he was fighting off his sleep, not listening to a singular word the teacher was saying.

"I think he's too tired." Minho signed to the teacher who sighed as she looked over at the squirrel like boy.

Jisung however quickly sat up as he had understood what Minho just said and decided to sign back.

"I'm not tired."

Both Minho and Mrs. Park both looked at him, surprised which caused the younger to smile to himself a bit.

"Did you practice sign language last night?"

"Yes."

"How late did you stay up?" Minho questioned but Jisung's one day of studying sadly didn't allow him to understand so he glanced at Mrs.Park.

"How late did you stay up?"

"Oh," Jisung said and held up a four for Minho to see.

"Learning sign language?"

"Yes."

"Why?" Minho asked glancing over at the teacher, "is your grade really that bad?"

Mrs. Park quickly translated the last part before Jisung had the chance to even turn his head towards her.

"Yes, but I wanted to learn so that I can talk to you." Jisung signed, obviously taking time to think about each sign before signing it.
