The two of them continued not too subtly flirting while discussing random topics until they heard someone call Jisung's name, causing Minho to freeze and look at Jisung as if he were asking for help.

"It's okay," Jisung reassured, grabbing Minho's hand from his spot on his bed and loosely holding it.

He heard a few knocks on his door he quickly pulled Minho to stand up next to him and said "come on."

"Hi, sweetie-" she began to say but stopped herself when she saw Minho standing there and showed him a small "Hi, it's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too," Minho signed back and Mrs. Han smirked at Jisung.

"You're right, he is pretty."

"Mom! You do know he can hear you right?"

"You do know you refer to him as 'the pretty boy in my sign language class', right? I honestly don't even know what his real name is."

Minho laughed silently as he looked at Jisung whose face was blood red at this point.

"I'm done," Jisung mumbled as his mom also laughed at his reaction. "His name is Minho."

"I'm Mrs. Han...but you can refer to me as 'mom.'" She offered.

"Okay, please leave," Jisung said before Minho could say anything in response to her.

"Okay okay I'll go...I'll call you two when dinner is ready." She said and closed the door behind her. Jisung would rather almost prefer for her to come off as intimidating than have her say what she just did.

"So you only told your mom who I was when we went on a date?" Minho tried to fact-check him.

"Yeah, I have no idea when she heard me refer to you as pretty boy...that would be weird. I definitely didn't do that."

"Okay, I definitely believe you," Minho signed with yet another silent laugh. Jisung was starting to wonder how he managed to do that but then again, it wasn't really any of his business.

Minho continued teasing him about it for nearly an hour until Jisung's mom called them both in for dinner.

Minho mainly just listened to Jisung and his mother have small conversations about their day but he didn't mind not being involved too much.

For some reason, it was comforting to see that Jisung's mother was so sweet and casual with him. However, he couldn't help noticing her concerned looks due to the fact that Jisung pretty much hadn't touched his food.

Minho frowned once he realized that it was probably due to the conversation they had earlier.

His mom seemed to be trying hard not to say anything to him to avoid embarrassing him or calling him out.

So Minho decided to do something about it instead and gently tapped Jisung's shoulder, holding a bite of food up to him on his fork which he hesitantly took, showing Minho a small smile, earning a smile from his mother as well.
