Coastal Candor

When the tides have ebbed
And the air is clean
Seek me in the sand
We could mind our promises
Or entrust them with the waves
Staining the shores

This poem is short, but I genuinely love it. One of my favorite things about Coastal Candor is the ambiguity it evokes. Uncertainty is one of my treasures because life is unpredictable, so why attempt to foresee the future.

Side note: I am positively bewildered by the number of people reading my poetry. In my mind, I had thought that no one would. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for reading!
