Chapter 14

"H-hi." I smiled nervously and stood up.

"What are you doing here?" He asked narrowing his eys.

"I...I." I stuttered nervously then Gai came up.

"Who is this child!" He yelled then froze.

"Little Hatake!" He grinned and picked me up and hugged me tightly.

"G-Gai?!?!" I yelled suprised.

"Gai-sensei...who is this?" Ten-ten asked and that's when I noticed everyone staring so I got nervous and buried my face in the crook of Gai's neck.

"Oh! Rika! Can't you tell she is my rival's daughter!"

"What?!?!" Lee yelled.

"His adoptive daughter to be exact." Gai said.

"She's cute." Ten-ten smiled and I felt my face heat up.

"She does look a lot like Kakashi." Neji pointed out.

"He uses a jutsu." I said quietly.

"Interesting." He muttered.

"See." I got out of Gai's hug, made handsigns, and looked like my old self. "But I like the other look more." I said and turned back to looking like Kakashi.

"Impressive." Neji smirked. "For a rookie."

I stared and said, "I might be a rookie but I am strong."

I turned to Gai and said, "I'm sorry for not remembering you. Its just been so long since I've seen you."

"That's alright!" He chuckled.

"So how did you two meet?" Ten-ten asked.

"I met her the first day she came but I haven't seen her since." He said.

"I'm sorry." I said quietly. "I've been really busy with training with dad."

"It's okay." He smiled.

"I better get home." I said,"Before dad thinks I'm lost." I chuckled.

He nodded and hugged me one last time.

"Wait who's this?" Neji asked looking at Chaos.

"Oh him? That's Chaos." I smiled.

"You have a pet dog?" Lee asked confused then jumped 15 feet in the air when he growled.

"He's a wolf." I said, "He hates it when people call him a dog."

"I...I know that now." He stuttered.

"Well I better go now." I hugged Gai, "It was nice to see you again."

"You too!" He hugged me tightly and I chuckled, "Tell your father I will win a competition one day! He is my rival!"

I chuckled and waved and pulled out my 'Make Out Paradise' book and started reading.

"W-wait! You read those!" Gai yelled.

"Y-yeah? Dad lets me?" I said confused.

"B-but they're..." Lee stuttered.

"I know but me and dad read them together!" I smiled innocently.

I chuckled and walked away reading with Chaos by my side as Gai, Lee, Neji, and Ten-ten stared at me shocked with wide eyes and their jaws to the floor.
