Third Person POV

Stiles looked at his wounds from a day ago, seeing that it was taking a little long to heal since the bullets were laced with a potent type of wolfsbane. He watches as the wounds finally close up. He couldn't help but wonder how he healed from the wolfsbane, thinking that since it was just a scratch the wolfsbane couldn't settle and spread the poison through his body. He felt his body slowly gaining its full strength, not knowing what happened to him with the wolfsbane. He starts throwing punches at the air, feeling a bit weaker, but still strong enough to take on the kanima. Stiles knew he could take the kanima, but he was worried that if he was taken out, Derek and Scott wouldn't be able to handle the kanima.

Stiles knew he needed to practice on his abilities, forcing them to get sharper. He took in a deep breath, feeling his eyes glow a powerful yellow. He punches the air, feeling a weaker gust of wind that he is used to. "Hmm. Still not up to full strength." He mutters as he switches from focusing on his the physical side of his powers, to his senses. He breathes in as much air as he can. Once he stops inhaling air, his body felt light as he moves away from his body. He stays in this form, looking around to see nothing moving.

He stayed in this form, for what felt like says on end. He watches as he finally lets out a weak exhale, his body losing its tingling sensation to now a numb, almost void as all of his focus and concentration go straight to his vision and smell. He could feel every pump of his heart as he moved so fluidly, every wasted movement disappearing. Stiles felt every muscle in his body ever so slightly twitching from every movement he does. Stiles concentrates on focusing with his vision and smell even more. His senses light up and he could see auras all around him. He then focuses on specific auras that he sees. He focuses on the aura trail going from his wound and downstairs. All the other trails and auras disappear as his eyes and smell focus on this particular scent.

The scent was familiar yet very foreign, almost as if he hasn't smelt this scent in years. He goes downstairs and to their basement. He goes all the way into his basement and sees a box full of his moms stuff. He looks through the boxes, his mind now blank. He hasn't seen these clothes, these pictures in years. He turns on the lights and looks through the pictures, seeing his mom holding him as a baby. He sighs as his heart strings started to hurt. He lets out a sniff as he puts the picture away. He lets out a pained sigh as he leaves the basement, deciding to do some research on the kanima. He goes into his room when he starts to do heavy research.

Stiles was doing some research, his mind mindlessly writing down everything he is learning about the kanima. For some reason everything he found about the kanima felt wrong. He read it and saw that there was a kanima report siting in Mexico. He read about it when he read it was a werejaguar. "What the hell, how many things are there in the supernatural? I need to learn Archaic Latin to read the bestiary. Once I learn I can read whatever I need to know about the kanima. Werejaguar, what a load of crap, there is no such thing." Stiles mutters as he continues to do research on the kanima.

Stiles goes to sleep after a few hours of research. He couldn't help but dream about the kanima and the alpha, Peter.

Dream

Stiles runs through the forest at night, when he hears heavy yet fast footsteps behind him. He turns and sees the alpha in a sleeker and slick form, not as large as he was when he fought him last time. He charges at the alpha when his senses go off, the hairs on his head standing up right. Stiles inhales a great deal of air, making everything freeze. He moves and looks up to see a tail shooting down from the shadows at his head. The teen slightly exhales some air as he returns to his body, his instincts telling his body to move, as his instincts already start to move him. His body goes numb as his speed increases. He dodges the sneak attack from above, but he felt an even heightened tingle close to his stomach.
