The night when I first met Dwayne and was turned into a vampire was the night I ran away from home. I got mad at my parents because they were wanting to move and I didn't want to go. I learned my parents are now going to the boardwalk every year on the night I went "missing" to hope that they will find me again. I started freaking out when they were getting close to us. I told Dwayne that my parents were walking our way and he told David. David told Dwayne that he needed to get me out of there immediately before they saw me. But it was too late. They saw my face and started running towards me. Dwayne grabbed my arm and we started running. I knew they wouldn't stop running after me. I didn't want to be caught, I didn't want to go back home. I absolutely love the guys, and I've fallen in love with Dwayne. I wouldn't even be able to go back anyway since I'm a vampire. Me and Dwayne were pushing through the crowd of people, trying to get away from my parents. I looked back and they had cops with them now. they started running out of breath though, I could tell. Luckily vampires can run as much as they can and will never run out of breath. We were near the cliff where our cave was, luckily they were no where to be seen. Once we got down into the cave we sat there and waited for the guys to come and tell us whats going on. I was pacing back and forth because my parents saw me after a year of being "kidnapped." Dwayne got up and told me to try and calm down. I just couldn't. Since my parents saw me the won't ever stop trying to find me, I just know it. Dwayne pulled me into a hug and I started crying. I didn't want to be found, and I didn't want them to find the guys or Dwayne. The guys were my family now. They would never force me to do something I didn't want to do. They were always there and I could trust them. Dwayne was still hugging me when the guys flew in the cave. David was going to call a group meeting. We all sat in the main cave ready to hear what David had to say. "Since Sylvia's parents saw her on the boardwalk tonight we are going have to protect her and Sylvia can't leave this cave for a couple days until all of this calms down and they think it could have been someone else." David announced. The guys all looked disappointed but they knew it was for my safety. After all of that the sun was about to rise in a couple of hours we all started going to our rooms but Dwayne stayed behind so he could talk to me. Dwayne said "I'm sorry for what happened tonight." I looked up at him and said "It's not your fault. You couldn't have possibly known that my parents were going to be there." He looked at me and kissed me then we both went to bed because tomorrow is going to be a dangerous,
crazy day.
