"You're not expecting someone, are you?" Jungkook asks me quietly even though the person outside my front door wouldn't hear him.

"No," I respond back just as quietly.

Just as I had finished speaking, another two angry bangs get pounded against my door telling me that whoever is there won't be leaving until I answer them.

Slowly getting off of Jungkook, I wince a little from feeling sore and tender, but nevertheless, once my feet are planted on the floor beside my bed, I make a run to the towel that is still on my bedroom floor, from this morning's rush, and quickly craft a dress out of it.

"You'll probably want to get your clothes from the kitchen just in case it's someone from work," I suggest to Jungkook.

He doesn't spare another second on the bed and makes a hurried departure from my room, heading to the right towards my kitchen after opening my bedroom door. I too emerge from my bedroom to glance down the hallway at Jungkook to see that he has, in fact, grabbed his clothes from the floor and I just see him disappear into my bathroom when an angry fist hits my door twice again.

"Coming!" I call towards my front door watching as Jungkook closes the bathroom door and appears to remain silent.

Now is my chance to see whoever is about to knock my door off its hinges.

Keeping a firm hand on the edges of my towel, so I don't end up flashing the person, I grab hold of my door handle and yank it open only to see Sunghoon standing there looking terrified.

"Sunghoon?" I ask confused only to have him barge his way through into my flat and stand midway down my hallway, "what's wrong?"

"What is going on with you and Jungkook?" He questions immediately seemingly panicked.

"Nothing," I mumble nonchalantly, "why?"

"I saw you two holding hands while you were heading to his car."

Oh shit.

"When?" I scoff trying to prevent myself from looking panicked.

"Today!" he exclaims, "it was just after lunch."

Pretending to think back on when this happened, I shrug my shoulders with a look of unknowing written across my facial features.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I playoff with a giggle only to receive a stern look from Sunghoon.

"(Your name)," he grumbles, agitated, "I know what I saw, besides, his car is still outside this building."

I could feel the blood drain from my face. If Sunghoon saw me getting into Jungkook's car then of course he'd look for it in the car park just outside my complex. Even though it is such a minor detail, it's obvious that it was noticeable.

Staring at Sunghoon in the face, his eyes bore into me until something catches his eye on the floor and somewhere behind me.

"Where is he now?" Sunghoon questions with an eyebrow raised.

With a shrug of my shoulders, I mumble "I don't know, he left a while ago."

Evidently seeing right through my white lie, he scoffs while shaking his head down towards the floor, "so he's wandering around outside with no shoes on?"

Now I know what caught Sunghoon's eye. The white trainers that were left by my front door and very clearly are not mine just from the size of them.

Abruptly, Sunghoon snaps his head in the direction of my bedroom only to lose interest before glancing over his shoulder. I know what he's looking for, but he's trying to do it subtly even though it's quite obvious what he's doing.
