"Shit." agad akong napatayo at tumakbo papuntang banyo para sumuka. I was coughing hard that it was mixed with my tears. Tumayo ako at naghilamos. Habang papalapit ang paglabas ng kambal ay mas lalo akong nahihirapan sa bawat araw na dumadaan. Kung noon ay hindi sila masyadong pasayaw, ngayon yata sila bumabawi. "You scared me!" reklamo ko habang hawak pa rin ang dibdib. Naka-all black pa naman ito tapos dim lang ang ilaw sa kwarto kaya akala ko talaga may multo. Hindi ito kumibo at inilapag ang dalang tasa sa rattan table sa tabi.
"Did you throw up again?" tanong nito. I nodded and reached for the teacup. Hmm. Agad kong naamoy ang hot cocoa na laman nito.
"Yeah, the twins are at it again. Where's Papa?" tanong ko at tsaka ininom ang hot cocoa.
"On his room. Sleeping. Should I fetch him?" I shook my head.
"No need. You can go back to sleep, Miss Carol. Thanks for the cocoa." saad ako at nginitian ito. Tumango ito at tumalikod na.
"If you need help, you call using the intercom. Press 1 if you need your Papa and press 2 if it's me. I'll leave now, just leave the cup there. I'll get that in the morning. Don't stay out for too long, you might catch a cold." malamig na saad nito at tuluyan ng lumabas ng kwarto.
I shook my head and heed Miss Carol's words. I stood up and went inside the room. Umaayos na rin naman ang pakiramdam ko kaya sinubukan kong matulog. I still have a long day a head.
