Danessa POV

Awe Jamal's just the most sweetest person ever.

Lola and Cookie walk in.

"Are we interrupting something here?" Cookie says.

"Huh oh sorry cookie we were just talking and well do you guys want anything to eat?" I say rubbing my hair.

"Sure girl do you have any wine?" She says sitting down.

"Uh yeah I'll get it"

I go into the kitchen and grab the wine glass and my favorite wine. I come back with her glass of wine giving it to her.

"Thank ya I needed this so what did I miss?" She says sipping on her wine.

"Oh nothing really we just talked that's all" I say

"Mhmm"

"Cookie what's her name?" Lola says pointing to me.

"Danessa?"

"I like that name can I have a cat and name it that please!!!"

"Girl those things mess with my allergies how about a puppy" she says

"Yay!!!"

We start laughing and I pull out my box of twizzlerz and eat one.

"You got my candy let me have one!!!" Jamal says staring at me.

"Here get one I don't really care?"

"Yes I get a twizzler!!!" He says dancing making me laugh.

"Boy stop you embarrassing!!!" I say laughing grabbing him.

"What you got my favorite candy girl so I got to dance..."He says laughing.

"here get one cause I don't wanna see you dance ever again."

"Okay I'll get one"

He grabs one and bites into it and I just turn my attention back on Lola an Cookie whose sipping on her wine looking at us.

"Y'all should just date already damn I mean dang!!!" Cookie says.

"Mom we just barely know each other we can't date now I mean I like her I really do but I just don't know?"

"We could make it work but I just don't wanna mix business with pleasure that's my thing jamal?" I say

"You won't I mean we won't um so how about that movie next week I'll pick you up around 8:00." He says looking at me smiling.

"Sure I'd love that I'm going casual just to let you know?" I say

He laughs and nods his head.
