Chapter Twenty Eight

The atmosphere in the car was simply awesome. The radio was on and music was blasting out loud in the car. We were both singing and Aaron would make weird faces and weird voices to make me laugh. With a big smile on my face, I turned my attention to the road and then I realized that we were a bit far from town. Trees. Trees surrounded the car. He parked the car and turned to look at me with a grin. I turned to glare at him.

"Are you going to kill me?" I asked seriously. He laughed but when he realized that I wasn't joking he stopped and looked at me in disbelief. What? Try to put yourself in my shoes! What if a guy bring you in a deserted place in the middle of nowhere!

"Tell me you're kidding" he pleaded and when I looked at him with crossed arms, he bursted out laughing. I huffed in annoyance. Well, apparently that wasn't his intention. When I realized that I sounded so stupid, I started laughing along with him. "You're too cute" he said and pecked my cheek.

"What are we doing in the middle of nowhere then?" I asked and shivered when I looked at the surrounding. He smiled and got out of the car. "Where are you going?" I asked and watched as he walked to my side and opened the door.

"Come" he said and took my hand in his. He closed the door and locked it.

"Where are we going?" I asked again. He turned and looked at me with provocative eyes.

"I'm going to rape you" he said huskily as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulling me to him. I trusted him so I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"It's not called raping if I agree to it" I whispered in his ears making him shiver and pulled away from him.

"Damn" he said closing his eyes. I chuckled and he took my hands in his. "Let's go" he said and pulled me by his side.

"Where are we going?" I asked again and he ignored me. "Where are we going?" I asked again but he ignored me again. "You know ignoring me isn't going t-" I stopped when we walked in a clearing. My jaw dropped open. Aaron turned to look at me. There, in the middle of the clearing was a cloth spread on the grass with a basket on it. Flowers made the clearing looked so pretty. The moon was beautiful and it lightened the clearing. On the cloth was placed candles. I bite my lips and turned my attention to Aaron who rubbed the back of his neck in nervousness. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around him. "It's perfect" I mumbled and smiled when I felt him kiss my head.

"Anything for you" he said. He took my hand in his and we walked to the basket. We sat on the cloth, facing each other with the basket in front of us.

"It's the most romantic thing that a guy did for me" I said looking at the candles with a smile on my face.

"You deserve all that" he said making my eyes meet his. He gave me a small smile and I smiled back. "I'm pretty sure that Lucky must have done romantic things for you" he added making my smile disappear.

"If by romantic you mean cheating, then yeah" I said sarcastically. "He was really romantic" I finished and he chuckled.

"He must be really, really stupid" he commented and I nodded with hesitation.

"He still is" I said and he moved closer to me as we ate some sandwiches. I leant my head on his shoulder and we admired the moon. "Thank you" I said and smiled.

"For what?" he asked.

"This perfect date" I said. "How did you find this place?" I asked curiously.

"When I was fifteen, I got lost in the forest" he said while chuckling. "I saw this and fell in love" he told me truthfully. "I come here whenever I have to think" he admitted.

"I'm glad that you brought me here" I said and stood up. I took off my heels and walked in the grass. I stood there and looked at the moon. There were so many stars in the sky. I watched the sky in pure amazement. I felt arms wrapped around my waist and I leant against Aaron's chest and he rested his head on top of mine. We were both staring at the sky. We stayed in completed silence for a few minutes and admired the beautiful clearing. I was turned around. Aaron smiled down at me and rested his forehead against mine.

"You're so beautiful" he whispered, looking right in my eyes. My cheeks heated up while he traced my cheek with his finger. "Dance with me" he said and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer so that there were no space between us.

"No music" I pointed out. He pulled out his phone and James Blunt song came on. He put his phone back in his pocket and grinned at me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his hands around my waist and leant his forehead against mine. We moved slowly and our eyes stayed locked together. He mouthed the lyrics to me making my cheeks go red. He twirled me around making me chuckle, then pulled me to him again. I rose my head to look at him. His blue eyes were twinkling just like the stars in the sky. "You have beautiful eyes" I whispered and he kissed my forehead.

"Thank you" he said and we stopped dancing. He traced my cheek and leant towards me. I kept my arms around his neck as he crashed his lips against mine. His lips fitted mine perfectly. He nibbled on my lower lip making me part my lips. I felt his tongue slide in my mouth making me moan. That moment felt so perfect. I moved my tongue along with his and pulled him even closer. He pulled away and rested his forehead against mine. We were both breathing heavily.

"That was" I started

"Amazing" he said in a breath and I nodded. His eyes were closed. I reached and pecked his lips one last time. He opened his eyes and a smile was playing on his face. "I have to ask you something" he said seriously and pulled away to look at me. He looked so serious and that made me nervous.

"Is something wrong?" I asked biting my lips. His eyes twitched to my lips.

"Don't do that" he mumbled.

"What?" I asked quite puzzled.

"Bite your lips" he said looking at my lips again. "it's a distraction" he said and I chuckled.

"What did you have to ask?" I asked as he pulled me even closer and took a deep breath.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked and I watched his eyes bored into mine.
