*April 13th*

Riley: say y'all goodbyes already we have to go.
Mads: don't rush us.
Josh: I'm only going to gone for a week.
Mads: I know but I'm going miss you.
Josh: I'm going miss y-
Riley: we get it y'all are going to miss each other now let's goooo!
Mads: alright can you text me when you land?
Josh: of course, I love you.
Mads: I love you too.

They kissed each other goodbye and Mads gets back in the car.

Riley: finally.
Mads: I'm sorry I was trying say goodbye to my fiancé.
Riley: oh my gosh.
Mads: didn't you say we have to go.
Riley: don't rush me.

She drives out of the airport and heads to Palm Springs.

Mads: so this is what I'm going to wear tomorrow then this is what I'm wearing Saturday and Sunday is this.
Riley: the best first.
Mads: yep. Is everyone going to meet us there?
Riley: yeah.

*2hrs and 45 minutes later*

Josh texted me saying he landed in Canada while Riley and I were just arriving to Coachella.

Brooke: look who finally arrived.
Riley: she was taking forever to say goodbye to her boyfriend.
Mads: correction fiancé.
Riley: whatever.
Jordan: Nessa, Sab, Cooper, Cynthia, Devyn, and Emma are going to be here. I know we're going to run into them, are you prepared for that?
Mads: I'm prepared for that ever since Josh and I made it official online. Also Nessa and Jaden actually showed up to my apartment so yeah I'm prepared.
Kenzie: ok? Let's go by the pool.

They went to go change and went to the pool. This was going to be one of the worst weekends ever. She knew she would see them, but she's praying she doesn't have to speak to them. They haven't talked in so long and she wants to keep it that way and we know they want to keep it that way too.

Kenzie: what are you thinking about?
Mads: nothing. Just daydreaming.
Kenzie: I know you're lying, what's wrong?
Mads: I told you I'm fine. Can you take pictures of me over there?
Kenzie: sure but this conversation is not over.
Mads: ok.
